When they say "mog" they are using cringe-inducing "Looksmaxxing" terminology to indicate that one person is more attractive than another.
When I use "Mog" I am talking about Meg’s loyal feline companion.
We are not the same. 🤷♂️

There are just 2 days left to back my SPACE GITS: HERE COME THE BASTARDS kickstarter!
Grab a core rulebook and new exclusive miniatures and support the creation of an expansion book! (Please share with someone you think will dig it!)
You may wish to mark the occasion by listening to @michaelspicer.bsky.social reading aloud what I still like to think of as an accurate representation of what goes on in Cambridgeshire

I apologise for the error in the alt text, this is not a Murder Class cruiser, obviously, it is Devastation Class.
Say what you like, they know how to name ship classes in the Imperium.
A Battlefleet Gothic cruiser, in this case a Murder Class from the Chaos fleet. It has two launch bays and two lance decks. There is no ramming prow common to Imperial ships of an equivalent class. There are a bunch of mast looking things on the top, along with a large bridge section to the aft. I always assumed these were meant to be a callback to age of sail. However... The way they line up looks very like this French pre dreadnought thing. Which makes me wonder if GW's designers were being clever. Chaos ships are, generally, meant to be older than Imperial ships. So it makes sense that their design would hark back to early modern ship design (Let's ignore that Imperial ships look like they have a lot in common with Triremes and that in 40k older generally means better technology)
It's just occurred to me how much the Warhammer 40k spaceship game Battlefleet Gothic owes to these things.
And that actually makes a lot of sense given that Chaos ships are meant to be older.
(More in the alt text. See, I can do that too)
I love this glorious mess so much. It just keeps getting more
Cat tip. When your head is stuck in a plastic grocery sack -
1) Stay calm.
2) Don't tear through the house howling like a maniac.
3) Don't bite anyone trying to help you.
4) Remember this day the next time you discover a plastic sack, stupid.
Keir Starmer is coming across as a man who, if told the sky was bright green by a civil servant, would just accept that rather than looking out the window.
And the woman did speak unto the hound, saying, What do you mean, normal men, and the hound answered the woman, saying, We are just innocent men. And great was her emotion
I believe the first national-level politician to quote Warhammer 40K has not only been born, but is already walking among us as an adult.
Watson's novel basically invented Space Marines, and I don't care what retcons GW *think* they've pulled over the years, Marines will always be emotionally stunted and damaged brainwashed teenagers who happen to be hulking monsters to me.
Two pages into this book and I can say with confidence it is the worst written thing I have ever read. I think I got cancer by the third paragraph. I love it already.
That's the best description of all of 40k I've ever heard
You've got Lex and Biff swapped. Yeri would definitely be giving Lex the side-eye.
Part 1 of 4 A Peanuts Comic. Once again Lucy has goaded Charlie Brown into trying to kick a football, and (as usual) she jerks the ball away at the last second, sending Charlie flying into the air. This time however Charlie lands heavily on his neck and is killed instantly.
Part 2 of 4 Lucy kicks Charlie Brown to check if he’s dead. Which he is. Exasperated, and worried she’ll be blamed for his death, Lucy begins to drag Charlie’s now lifeless body towards the creek.
Part 3 of 4 Lucy dumps poor ol’ Charlie Brown into the creek and watches him float away.
Part 4 of 4 Lucy heads back to Charlie Brown’s backyard to pick a fight with Snoopy in order to establish an alibi. Unfortunately a disheveled, crumpled man with a cigar is already there. “Miss, have y’seen this dog? He’s best friends with a BIRD. Can you believe that?” That’s right folks. Columbo is here to avenge Charlie Brown.
Lucy van Pelt has finally gone too far. But she will be brought to justice
"Show us your tits!" I squeal, as I elbow my way through the crowd and into the aviary.
A ship moves towards a rundown dock area on the edge of the yellow-green sump sea.
This image was created for one of my uni subjects. It had to involve the use of photos you took and either directly manipulated or used as inspiration.
Me being me, I went #Necromunda inspired and played with the idea of a small section of a port on the sump sea.

A split bar chart of YouGov polling data with the headline: "Americans are most likely to say T. Rex is their favorite dinosaur, but many don't have a favorite." The chart has the sub-headline: "Which of the following is your favorite dinosaur? (%)." The chart has the note: "Note: "Other" includes responses of archaeopteryx, spinosaurus, plesiosaur, ankylosaurus, allosaurus, parasaurolophus, dilophosaurus, diplodocus, iguanadon, and pachycephalosaurus, as well as responses of "other." We know pterodactyls and plesiosaurs aren't dinosaurs. Opinion about dinosaurs comes from the question, "How much do you like or dislike dinosaurs?""
A shocking new poll result: Many Americans somehow don't have a favorite dinosaur.
And only 6% give the correct answer (triceratops).
Check out YouGov's new polling on Americans and dinosaurs: yougovamerica.substack.com/p/whats-your...
