Sheffield poet Alan Halsey collected work by Bill Griffiths. Griffiths, who lived on a houseboat and rode with Hell’s Angels in the 1970s, campaigned for prison reform and against social injustice in his poetry.

Our Small Press Poetry Collection contains publications from over 100 non-mainstream international presses, focussing on the avant-garde.

We recently added Louis Zukovsky's posthumously published final work '80 Flowers' (1978) to this collection.

Gordon Brotherston, academic and poetry collector, was friends with American poet Edward Dorn and British poet Tom Raworth.

Brotherston's collection contains rare editions of both poets’ works, such as Dorn's poem 'Gunslinger'.
