We developed and administered an open-source cognitive control test battery with often used tasks (bit.ly/4ql9gyP) in 247 students. Key insights in 🧵
New open access paper in @jcgntn.bsky.social: bit.ly/4bt2D8Q! We developed and validated an open-source cognitive control test battery (bit.ly/4ql9gyP), using a transparent, open science approach. We worked on this for 6 (!!) years, with many lab members, so I'm thrilled to see this published.
MindProbe.eu started the new year by hitting 👏 one million 👏participants tested!!! 🎉🙀 In over 👏 twenty thousand 👏 studies from researchers across the world. 🌍 Thanks to @escop.bsky.social and @jcgntn.bsky.social for sponsoring us and allowing us to offer it for free! #psychology #openscience

First post here to share a new paper from my PhD! 🥳 together with my amazing PI Laura Kaczer.
We use pupil size 👁️as a measure of cognitive effort and find that semantic context reduces effort during word processing, specially for ambiguous words.
