Became fast friends with a jumping spider last week. Her name is Lucy. 🥹
She’s a curious little one, always sneaking up on me at my desk. When I talk to her, she usually pauses her spider business to get a better look.

2/28/03
12/11/99
12/30/97
4/3/98

Making NCAA tourney French Dip sandwiches for the crew
It was a National Geographic hobby tumbler, which I thought was pretty reasonably priced. Maybe $65? Came with a bunch of cool stones and everything you needed to start tumbling!

100% my mistake, yes!

We both love good old fashioned amethyst & rose quartz.. haha.
But for this batch, I’ve formed a new appreciation for Tigers eye!
Very noisy! We put it in the basement so we wouldn’t hear it as much! Lol
Not a clue! The first batch he/we did weren’t nearly as nice (could’ve also been a bit of a learning curve also). I hope so too! He’s so happy with this little hobby, so we’re doing our best to feed it. 🥹
Love this idea!!
Here’s the newest batch of rocks that my son tumbled.
In the last 3 months, he requested a rock tumbler for Xmas, borrowed 10+ books on rocks/gems from the library and just taught me about sedimentary, igneous & sedimentary rocks.
Is this kid gonna be a geologist by the time he gets to 3rd grade?

Hanging with the neighbors for a St Pattys party today. Beer cheese pretzel dip, corned beef, vegetarian “shepherds pie”, Guinness & lots of Jameson. 🥵
This 💯.
I also put value on consolidation, rather than having multiple accounts with multiple vendors (and multiple passwords!)
I think it’s a worthwhile exercise to review the costs of the mutual funds inside each 401k. You may find one is .25 and the other is a full 1%
PS- old 401ks sometimes have higher admin fees bc employers of ACTIVE participants generally cover admin costs for active employees. Hope this helps!
