Weg met die afhankelijkheid van autocraten en dictators, en weg met vervuilende bruinkool, steenkool en olie. Investeren, en flink ook. Laat dat begrotingstekort maar even een paar jaar oplopen. In vergelijking met andere landen zijn we daarin toch al zo enorm braaf.
Kernreactoren zijn prima voor de tussenfase van fossiel naar totaal duurzaam, en als backup stroom bij crisissen. Moderne kerncentrales kun je afschakelen als er veel zon is en op hogere kracht laten draaien als er geen zon of wind is. Waarom investeren we in godsnaam niet in allebei?
Ik ben geen Eerdmans fan, maar er zijn wel meer dingen waar bedrijven niet in willen investeren zonder overheidsgarantie. Ik heb zo'n vermoeden dat bedrijven ook niet willen investeren in het elektriciteitsnet, dijken of andere zaken in de infrastructuur, met een hoger politiek risico.

Ik ben helemaal voor kernenergie. Maar dan moeten we wel besluiten dit te gaan doen en het niet alleen als argument te gebruiken als mensen roepen dat we moeten vergroenen en er daarna alsnog niets mee te doen. Die ontzettende lamlendigheid van de VVD, daar heb ik zo'n hekel aan.

Drove a second hand Renault Zoe for 8 years. Only got 100-130 km range. But managed to drive 10.000 km per year with it. With solar panels, this was the most efficient and cheap way to drive ever. Since last year, I drive a new second hand car: a Renault Zoe with 240-300km range. 😂 15k per year now.

Ik zou het zelf fantastisch vinden. Kweekvlees, vermengd met wat kikkererwten en zo. Als het dan dezelfde smaak heeft en de bio industrie stopt: super toch? Misschien nog wat biologische boerderijdieren die af en toe geslacht worden, maar that's it. Rest gewoon via kweekvlees fabrieken.
Probleem is dat het van zowel linker als rechterzijde niet wordt ondersteund over het algemeen. De rechterzijde is pro boerenlobby. Alles houden zoals het is. Linkerzijde vindt vlees eten verwerpelijk, dus ook als het kweekvlees betreft. Zal vast niet iedereen zijn, maar is wel beetje de tendens.

What I see is a crucial phase however. If the number of users slowly keeps on growing. And slowly the activity also grows, Bluesky will get more sports, more entertainment , which will skyrocket the attraction for X-users. If however the activity drops the next months, I think Bluesky will die.
