Dude on the way back from the vet he was still barking at cars in the other lane. Zero chill

Sometimes it gets tedious going to post a photo and being like "Hmmm okay what pithy comment do I make for this one....?"

Thanks! Definitely check out Thoreau's journals if you haven't. There are so many gems in there

Rodinal 🫠 Some of my favorite images I've made were shot on an old Leica Elmar and developed in 1:100 Rodinal

That's impressively fast, I remember looking at that setup when I was thinking about camera scanning

Yeah the process and honestly most of it is the Plustek scanner. It's a game changer on 35mm

Thank you ☺️

Yeah the copy and crop routine to split them up got old FAST.

I'm using a Plustek 8100, dedicated 35mm scanner, with Silverfast. This has been my process for years, but I've been curious about camera scanning

Nice. I always liked 645 as a format. Nice medium format rendering, 4:3 aspect ratio, more shots on a roll than 6x7, etc etc.. I had a Bronica ETRSi for a little bit that I enjoyed

I was watching a lens review on YouTube and the dude was showing his work that he'd had printed to hang up in his house and I was like, "Mannn, that's dentist office work."

Thanks! It's a fun rig. Brooks are already pretty comfy for me so adding the springs was a whole new level. And yeah those balloon tires work pretty well for most surfaces. They just have like a file tread but for most conditions they work pretty well.

The public sector is one of the few bastions of organized labor left at this point, and even that's not saying much. But I hope it can serve as an example of how a grassroots, working class movement can start to assemble itself in opposition to the fascist drift

I scanned whole frames and tried to balance my scanning adjustements for the two frames and then copied and cropped in post to get individual images. But I might try scanning individual frames next time. The scanning will take twice as long but the editing workflow will be less annoying I think.

Blogs win again

Yeah I got in to the habit on Instagram of uploading five or so images at once in a post or in a reel set to music and that works nicely, but, no such option here.

Hell yeah, Silverfast is amazing!
