Been a while since I last did something like this but I made @yarny.land as a Mii and brought them into Super Smash Bros.

And especially on the days that I do work, I don't want to do more work just before going into or after I just get back home from work.

This is one of the reasons why I can't do the things I want to while at home. Considering most of my shifts start at 1:00 and I usually don't get done closing until around 10:20, not to mention I ride my bike to work, other than days off, I rarely spend all that much time at home to begin with...

It sucks that, other than myself, there's only one other closing shift co-worker with a key where I work, and they are currently in the ER with the flu and pneumonia, and they're going on vacation starting Wednesday, meaning, unless they recover quickly, I won't have another day off until the 25th.

I'm just glad the project I was editing at the time was just a test to make sure audio and other settings were alright.

Unfortunately, the video editing software that I use is only detecting the audio of files I add to projects and not any video. I'm unsure if it's an unfortunate glitch or if a setting is messed up somewhere, but I might just need to find a new video editing software if there is no fix.

Sadly, if it exists...

It's been very stressful these past couple days at work. We're told they're cutting hours again, but then they turn around and reschedule me to come in on days I was originally scheduled off or ask me to come in earlier, and it's been taking me away from everything else I've been wanting to work on.

Another thing I've been doing recently is help add to the Age of Empires Fandom Wiki for these games as there is some info not listed. You could say I just really want to tell people about these games.

I probably would have been able to release it this month but I'm attending a court hearing as a witness today so I've been using most of this week to mentally prepare myself for it. It's my first time appearing in a court. Slightly nervous, but only because it's my first time.

I'm still writing the script for my first video for my return to creating content on YouTube, and assuming nothing major comes up that interrupts me from creating it, I should have it out sometime next month. For those curious, I'll be talking about these two AoE games released on the Nintendo DS.

Things like this make me believe most people nowadays have no common sense. Like I'm fairly certain even if the rules were labeled with bright neon lights they'd glance over it.

The relationship I'm in is one I'm truly grateful for. Even if it isn't perfect, that's what makes it work. Through our arguments and misunderstandings, we know we'd never intentionally upset each other, and considering that's a key for any relationship to work, I see mine thriving for a good while.

A couple of days ago, thanks to having an extra free day, I was able to speedrun another game and put it on the Speedrun website. I enjoyed doing this with Titan Chaser when I put it on the website too, and I look forward to when I can do some more runs.

I'd like to remind everybody that even if you don't have a "special someone" to enjoy your time with today, or know of someone who doesn't, take a moment to remind your closest friends, family, and others you consider special in your life that they are still loved.

I usually always enjoy seeing my (and my friends') Steam Year in Review and remembering what we did and accomplished, but when I look back on 2024's Year in Review I can't help but feel a sense of disappointment.

For 2025, I'm not making any resolutions, I'm just gonna strive to do what I want/can as the best person that I can be.
