JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 - Golden Wind
Perfectly reminded why this is where I stopped watching the anime as it aired. Cast does nothing for me, the ending was kinda bad and for all the King Crimson gags it was GER which made me go "wait what how does this work".
Hope Part 6 is better.

I did most of the Picrossing for this and was sooooooo bored the further we got.
Im sure playing the updated version is more than serviceable and maybe even a "better" game, but all the time id just be thinking that id trade it all to have daddy nier again

I'd previously been an anime-only andy for just these four parts before petering out when Part 5 aired, so after much delay I'm catching up in manga form. These were just as entertaining to read as they were to watch years ago, DiU still being my favorite.

I went into this expecting it to be largely a train sim Sandbox with Thomas characters, and its very good at that, but I remain a bit disappointed at just how largely lacking it is on the amount of actual narrated stories in the game. Needs more train crashes.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
You could probably watch a longplay of the game this is supposedly based on and come out with a more narratively fulfilling experience.
Can't even call it entertaining, I was mostly bored for most of the runtime with how safe and straight everything plays out.

Its really great when both indies and large studios alike will go out of their way to cover all the bases possible except writing, wherein its ok to cheapen out and not even float the idea of professionalism because everyone knows how to speak and write, right?
Promises made, promises kept! Here's part five of my Ace Combat series playthrough, this time on Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies; the first of the PS2 trilogy which sought to reinvent and push the series up to new heights (as well as bring me into this crazy series over twenty years ago!).
