Fully agreed. I attended SFU, graduating in ‘91, and was living close to the Burnaby Mountain campus. I hated having to take some classes downtown, not just for the trek, but it didn’t have the “feel” of a university, more like shared office space.

SFU does have a fairly significant downtown campus.
