We thought so 😂 It's the genuine version from the original devs too - you'd be surprised how many people had an actual boxed copy. We interviewed them way back in Issue 8.

Excellent! That's quite the collection - there's some unique titles on that platform, back when multimedia was a new word. Sim City and Labyrinth of Time are standouts for me!

Thanks for picking up our mag Andrew, glad you're enjoying it 😁 Nice CDTV by the way!

Yes we are still in the shops. We just don't control which Smiths/TGJones has us in stock, our distributor moves the stock around based on sales. You can order it directly from Smiths or from our website though.

Grind is made on the Dread engine. Originally it was just Dread but when they started making it into a "real game" they rebranded it. Things move so fast!

We were honoured to meet @johnromero.bsky.social yesterday and hear his memories about the #Amiga and its relationship with #Doom! He even mentioned he'd played Gloom in the past, and we showed him Grind! What a lovely chap.

Dizzy is back in Amiga Addict #39! Walking egg-dude Dizzy is back, and he's the cover star of the latest edition of Amiga Addict! Issue 39 also features a review of his latest game, Fast Food 2. Amiga Addict is by far my favourite magazine still in print, and one day I hope to have the chance to write for them. (Having said that, three of the mags I've previously contributed to have ceased publication, so maybe I'll play it safe...) It has all the "feels" of a classic video game magazine from the 1990s heyday, while simultaneously being completely modern.
