Billie has asked me to remind everyone that today is Earth Day and to get outside and enjoy the sunshine!
He also wants to remind you to make sure you do your recycling properly to help save our beautiful home world.🌎

My Seestar S50 imaging the Sun whilst I work from home.

Thank you, these are with the SeeStar S50 and SeeStar S30
Last night’s Galaxy images.
Two of my favourite targets.
Seeing wasn’t the best and the wind caused a fair few dropped frames but got there in the end.
Thanks to my friends who helped removed the shocking satellite trails!

Stunning 8% lit crescent #Moon near the Pleiades this evening 🤩 #Astronomy #Astrophotography
Thank you ☺️
Thank you
Excellent, I’ve never tried a Dwarf, maybe I should!
I’ve always been a Seestar and Vaonis user.
I’m hoping to get the Vespera III soon 🤞
They do!
They really are, I love the S30 Pro doing star
Possibly my best star trail image to date.
270 minutes imaged with my Seestar S30 Pro doing star

If you have clear skies right now in the UK the Crescent Moon and Venus are looking absolutely stunning.

Just been using my Seestar to show some neighbours our beautiful Sun. They were amazed to find out all about Sunspots and their size.
Proof, if needed, that smart scopes are great for a spot of astronomy outreach!
Two scopes, one target.
M81 Bodes Galaxy
M82 The Cigar Galaxy
Vaonis Vespera II

Both images straight off the scope.

Beautiful clear sky this evening, Venus looks stunning!
Hoping the clear skies last as the skies get dark.
Looking forward to this next weekend!
I have wanted to go here for many years and now I am finally going! Looking forward to meeting lots I’ve like minded people in the USA.
The sky wasn’t perfect last night but it was good enough to get some images with my Seestars.
The lines on the California Nebula are from a tree outside my house, I need to stack the individual subs to get rid of that.
Sunday 5th/ Monday 6th April 2026
A couple of hours a fairly clear skies allowed me to get my Seestar family out.

As I take this image I’m also sat observing the Moon with my visual scope. I’m sitting here thinking how amazing it would be to be onboard Artemis II heading towards the Moon.
Our beautiful Moon imaged tonight as astronauts blast off on a Mission to see her up close.

Great way to spend your birthday! Hope you had a good one 🎂
Thank you. Yes the new S30 Pro does star trails and has a Milky Way mode too.
The field of view is incredible too so I can’t wait to capture some of the larger nebulas with it.
