I really hope I can find something better before classes start up again in a few months. I really don't want to work here again, or be in food service. My resume looks like shit 'cause all I've done is job hop. Maybe I should stream...

Two more long weeks before summer vacation. I want to be excited, but it's kinda hard because it's so slow amd my boss is an ass. I get my tasks done within the first half of my shift, so I'm left trying to entertain myself, gears in my mind SPINNING with worn out teeth.

I got the Final Sketches done! I feel fulfilled! Now to color it!

PPT has definetly done something to me. I don't know what it is, but it's done something, in a good way. Please Mob Entertainment, make Ch6 awesome (...and don't kill the Prototype, the boy just needs a damn hug)!

This is the first time in YEARS that I've used a base, even free-handing! I used to just trace over them ngl, but, I didn't want to do that. The only thing tripping me up is the DAMN HANDS. I made Ollie's hands too big ;^; Oh well, I was tiny anyway.

Though truth be told, I was trying to work on a NiGHTS fanfic years ago...I think before the big move? I dunno what it is about PPT in general, but it's reviving something in me I haven't seen in a very long time. So, I guess we'll see what happens!

So, the gears in my mind have been SPINNING. I've been writing down all kinds of lore ideas for my PPT AU...oh god...could I end up writing a fanfic for the first time in years??? I still plan on drawing things so it all flows well, but...it's been so long since I've written anything.

...so he hasn't been making things easy. Getting through the day with a metaphorical gun cocked is not fun. Running out of tasks halfway through my shift isn't fun. I REALLY hate food service with a burning passion. At least "2 Minutes Notice" (HB) and PPT is helping get me through.

What I'm more excited for: 3 MORE WEEKS TILL SUMMER VACAY! 3 more...very...long...weeks... Yeah, my boss f-cked up badly with me and hasn't owned up to it (thinks medical issues are an excuse for laziness)...

I managed to get Ollie colored for my Poppy Playtime AU, and started coloring my self-insert. Honestly, I can't believe how much fun I'm having with it. I'm also working on some lore bits, where they can be read in full either/or on DA and Tumblr. Sadly BlueSky and IG have character limits...

I made a big change with Ollie, and that was swapping out the bow for an ascot (something I had to pull Muramasa as a reference for) because BOWS SUCK TO DRAW FOR ME. Plus, it's gonna match up with the lore anyway. Also made my self-insert's hair softer-looking.

The final lineart is done! I can't wait to start coloring! Now to work on the AU Lore in the meantime!

I think there's gonna be one more final lineart sketch to set in stone what I want, and then...coloring! I also still have lore to bang out too, and I'm gonna have to figure out a way to track the time I'm working on it. But it's happening! And listening to songs on repeat help.
