You can't respect yourself, if you can't respect women.

This deal is all about adults having sensible, logical and respectful conversations.

These conversations are very likely to lead to a mutually beneficial, long standing relationship.

There is far more to this than jobs.
Saab is offering the intellectual property and full control of the Gripens we buy.
That alone should be enough to seal the deal.
The Canadian companies that make parts for the F35 could easily make parts for the Gripen.
And Canada would service our own Gripens.

Graphic with a Canadian flag in the background and text that reads: “Building One Canadian Economy – Not thirteen.” Below are three points with red checkmark icons:
Fewer barriers: Federal rules now align with provinces and territories in key sectors.
Easier for workers: A worker licensed in one province or territory can work in a comparable role under federal jurisdiction.
Easier for businesses: Goods and services that meet provincial or territorial requirements are now recognized federally (except food products).
At the bottom, the name “Mark Gerretsen” appears with a maple leaf icon.

Canada is becoming our own best customer. 🇨🇦

New regulations are now bringing the 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘺 𝘈𝘤𝘵 to life, making it easier for workers and businesses to succeed across the country.

We’re building one Canadian economy, together.
