Sektori is *awesome* I love how immersive it is for a game about generic shapes shooting generic shapes
Shout-out to @jakuts.bsky.social for helping me see the further depths of Star of Providence and elevate my already very high opinion of the game. There's such an insane hidden depth to this game it's awesome
Is the new one more or less evil?
Oh nooooooo a game required me to use my BRAIN to REMEMBER something noooooo
Twitch streamer forgets that most people don't have twitch streamer ADHD brain
Hey, so
Can we stop getting mad when a dev 'abandons' a completely finished, complete package of a game?
Not every game should be a 'forever' game.
Sometimes a complete package with a defined beginning, middle, and end is the better outcome
I just want to enjoy good games from passionate devs

A friend of mine who runs these things always repeats something to me along the lines of "Playtests and Research isn't for telling you the right thing to do, it's to confirm to you that your assumptions are correct and that your intentions are getting through to the players" and that's stuck with me
How dare you have nuance
Dart, Trace, and Flare all standing close to each other in front of a green, yellow, and red banner behind them. To the left, the words "Black History Month" are written in black text
I know i'm late, but i wanted to do something real quick for Black History Month, so i drew my darker-skinned ocs from Zack's home world! Even though they canonically have 0 connections with human history, i thought it was still worth doing :3

I really wish people would stop waiting for video game review release day scores to decide how happy or unhappy they are with a game they've been anticipating
If you find a small under seen game that you like definitely share it around if you can because some of these devs could use the positivity. I'll keep covering what I can :)
Also is the whole idea not also kind of insulting to games that *don't* do well? Telling devs that didn't get recognized "well your game is just bad" when there's a million factors involved?
Calling out the advisors and consultants that try to peddle that "doing THIS thing will give your game success!" Because it only helps your dice roll but you're still rolling
The idea that only bad games sell poorly is so stupid when you take 10 seconds to remember 20 thousand games released on Steam alone last year and it's mathematically impossible *every* well made game succeeded. Basic math is basic
