I have removed the CDC from my LibGuides. I'm still linking to some discrete pages, but I don't feel comfortable linking to the main site. I hate this timeline. #medlibs

Department of Education Proposal Excludes Public Health Degrees from “Professional Degree” Definition Discover the new results and implications of Dept of Ed consensus regarding professional degree programs and public health education.

This is designed to tank public health & primary care by excluding public health professions, advanced nursing practice, physical & occupational therapy from loans that can cover the cost of education. This is going to make an existing workforce crisis worse.

NNLM | NNLM Delivery

Only found out about this today (we use it for DOCLINE delivery): "The NNLM will end support for delivery.nnlm.gov on Friday, December 19th 2025. The document delivery site will no longer be available after that date, and it will not be replaced with a similar service." #MedLibs

The one I live and die by is the deduplicator. We have Covidence and I don't see us switching to this, but SR Accelerator (presumably teratools as well) has a stronger deduplication tool #medlibs #systematicreviews

Have you been using them? If I can have one review at a time without having to pay that would be great

According to the Systematic Review Accelerator page, the suite of tools is being sunsetted at the end of this October in favor of TeraTools. Any #medlibs have experience with that? #systematicreviews

Dear Microsoft,

Stop making me uninstall Copilot weekly. I do not want it and will not willingly use it.

Please and thank you.

Did my lunchtime perusal of the national news and am, of course, horrified. This happens on a daily basis. I dream of a time when I can just shrug it all off and go back to living in uninteresting times.

I don’t want to read about a former President’s mental decline because a journalist got a book deal.

I want to read a report about the current President’s mental decline by a journalist brave enough to speak out now.
