the front and back of a small 2’ x 3’ quilt edited so they are seen side by side on a blank white background. the front of the quilt has curving fabric shapes with stars and horses appliquéd and embroidered on it, and the back is mostly rectangles and triangles pieced together. the colors on both sides are various shades of purple and blue with bits of pale green, sunny yellow, orange, and pink. some of the fabrics are floral prints. The front also has the text appliquéd on it, “I’m dreaming through the joy and the pain” in hot pink letters

finished quilt “Dreaming Through the Joy And the Pain,” 2024. i’ve felt really nervous about sharing this one because it’s so personal, but am super proud of it. it’s got a bunch of beadwork, embroidery, and hand-appliqué as well as being entirely hand-quilted!
