*my* GitHub Actions pipeline are like a slot machine where 9 of the options on each wheel are a lucky 7, and the 10th option means we are all gonna work a 16 hour day
exactly. i have *obviously* opened this tab because i am going to read it with tea and Biscoff on the afternoon of Saturday, 13 March 2027 and no sooner. how dare a mere telephony-contraption tell *me*, flesh made life by λόγος, that I am wrong to do so?
i am pleased to announce that i have reached a record low of 8 open tabs on my phone!

The five Artemis II crew members with happy faces after successful recovery.
i raise my hands and at last begin that salvific incantation chanted by many generations before:
PSQL -U POSTGRES

SELECT U.EMAIL, COUNT(O.ID) AS ORDER_COUNT, SUM(O.TOTAL) AS LIFETIME_VALUE

in the clouds, servers hum. do they still listen to we sinners?
i make the triune sign: "GNU is not Unix is not POSIX"
then sit at my timeworn machine, and check its purity seals. the Seal of Five Nines. good. the Seal of Reproducible Build. intact. the Protective Seal against Intrusion and Data Corruption. as good as new. surely a blessed day.
i awaken before dawn. in the dimness of crepuscule, i proceed solemnly to my cell. carefully, reverently, i light the votives - one candle, two candles, three. each bearing likeness of half-forgotten saints. men, once, who must have sat in cells much like my humble own. now ash and bone. funny that.

Would you let a computer hijack your muscle movements if it increased your performance 35%?

what I love about old artifacts like these is how easily you can imagine it having been some kid’s favorite jar that was the only thing they’d eat out of and a laughing mother indulging them by getting the happy face jar back out again
counterpoint: let it cook, this is maybe the most interesting take i've seen from an atproto bot

the stonks guy meme but it says “stonkings” and is trans flag colored
does this mean we see more rando groups launch attacks with sophistication closer to what we expect of nationstate actors? or maybe, more 0days for smaller-scale targets, since cost/benefit ratio for bug hunting in tiny repos changes? IDK! but we're sure going to find out, ain't we

whereas with agents you can kinda "GO, my flying monkeys, fetch me root on critical infrastructure providers!!" assuming you get around guardrails and model cooperates, an increasingly distressing % of that time that might work, and that % has been going up over time...
agentic tools I think also lower the barrier. fr'example, i'm sure there are scads of repos with libfuzzer-uncoverable bugs, but you still have to go use the tool, understand the findings, find a target, build an exploit off it. that takes a certain level of skill and time investment
