I thought our big summer was last summer. It's actually going to be this summer isn't it?
Out
Salah
Robbo
Likely outs
Endo
Gomez
Chiesa
Elliott
Ramsay
Bajcetic
Possibly a goalkeeper too
And possibly one of Jones or Mac Alister or McConnell if a suitable offer comes in

Obviously a very satisfying win, but this team poses so many questions. How to get the best out of Wirtz. Does it matter if Isak barely touches the ball if he starts scoring. Why do we even have Chiesa? Is Gakpo good enough as 3rd striker? Will/should Jones stay?
Good point. A lot of fans would like to see more of Chiesa. But TBF Slot sees him every day in training and decides not to play him. Same with Ramsay. They're barely squad players if they never get picked even when the players ahead of them are injured. Similar with Elliot.
So our strikers next season are Isak (barely fit), Chiesa (barely plays) and Gakpo (barely scores)? Eek. I honestly think we should welcome Harvey back into the fold #lfc
Not the result that the performance merited but there will be great European nights again... Have to focus everything now on finishing third #lfc
Rio for Gomez? Got to assume Joe has picked up a(nother) knock otherwise that's a v odd sub #lfc
Has to be Rio for Mac at halftime. #lfc
Kitchen sink up front it is then ☹️ #lfc
If... If we can get to half-time at 0-0 and Isak has to come off, we go Salah - Ekitike/kitchen sink - Rio (for Mac Alister?)? #lfc
Just need a bit of magic/luck #lfc
That's clever!
I wrote and posted this to Instagram a couple of days ago and it became my most-read poem ever. I’m honored I get to feel big feelings alongside you all. I’m posting it here too and want to use this space more consistently. Hello friends ❤️
Fulham creeping back into this. Isak for Gakpo please.
Here, have two 😁😁
It's been a long time since we've had a game like this! Being better, scoring goals!
I will happily eat my words... But Wirtz behind Gakpo doesn't work. Why not give half each to Isak/Ekitike?
Instead of looking over our shoulder and trying to hang on to fifth, we should be aiming for third. First aiming for clean sheets, second getting Isak into form and Ekitike back on form, and third goals across the team. We play the teams around us so it's a real opportunity. Come on Red Men! #LFC
There's no alternative for the second leg. Slot has to absolutely go for it.
Marmadashvili
Gomez Konate VVD Kerkez
Frimpong Grav Szlobo
Salah Isak Wirtz
Well the only thing you can say about that really is it could have been worse. Liverpool have turned around bad first-leg results before but do this team have it in them? And if not can we at least beat Fulham in between please?
I think that's why Jones hasn't been a regular under Klopp or Slot. Too often shirks the defensive duties.
Does Slot stick or twist? Can't see us scoring two unanswered goals at Anfield, so let's put Isak and Salah on for the last 10
I can sort of understand why Liverpool won't pay whatever it takes to keep Konate this summer. He can be a great defender but he has a lot of mistakes in him, and hasn't really stepped up with a view to taking on VVD's role in the team
Would love to see Nyoni on for Mac Alister at halftime. Mac will get sent off otherwise and Nyoni has a calmness on the ball that Liverpool really need right now
Strong bench, but a bit short on defenders! Let's hope Gomez and Frimpong last 90mins
No Alisson, away from home against a very good and in-form team. But when our defenders and captain make 2 big errors, and our strikers miss easy chances, it's going to be painful. Konate, Salah, maybe also Gomez, Jones, Chiesa won't be there next season. Will Slot? #lfc
When I saw the line-up I was quite optimistic. RB (or at least a defender) playing at RB. Two midfielders sitting deep. Nice fluid attack. But to lose 4-0 when you don't even play that badly is fucking dreadful. Yes there are mitigating points...
Why only 2? We normally play with 3? Can't really see that changing. But you need a disruptor (Gravenberch/Nyoni); attack (Szlobo/Jones) and engine (Mac Alister). Of those perhaps Jones the most likely to leave although I don't want him too. And Mac A hasn't had much of an engine this season 😕
I'd have Nyoni in that list, but even so the midfield looks a bit light to me. Elliott is another conundrum although I can't see Slot taking him back.
