Seb, is there a feeling that there is no clear #2 behind Premier League right now and Bundesliga has the opportunity to cement themselves as such?
2025 Club World Cup will help, and 2026 World Cup could capture lightning in a bottle. The average MLS attendance in 2024 is good for 9th in the world and the total attendance was only behind the Premier League.
The Premier League proudly dons rainbow armbands, but when faced with difficult questions their moral posturing crumbles under pressure from Marc Guehi, Sam Morsy, and Noussair Mazraoui.

Alyssa Naeher ends her legendary USWNT career with a 2-1 win over the Netherlands, capping 115 caps, 69 shutouts, and a legacy of brilliance.
Horan having a bit of a shocker for the first 40 or so minutes
Netherlands running circles around our 6 midfielders…
A match made in the depths of hell
These portraits are certainly something…
I feel this. I tried to work in soccer content full time for a year. I had been in finance for a decade and it was a dream job. Turns out it was a 24/7 exploitation, people were so mean and I got nothing even though I quadrupled their viewership. It was easier to quit and go back to my old job.
Read my MLS Cup preview out now:
Puig's absence looms large, and NY's playoff magic says never count them out. Can the Galaxy's attack break through Red Bulls' fortress? The ultimate clash of styles awaits. #MLSCup #NYRB #LAGalaxy

Would I have killed for Pep to be manager of USMNT? Yes.
Do I get an unreasonable amount of joy from watching the fall of Man City? Also yes.
Riqui Puig the type of guy that brings a briefcase to the pre-game locker room filled with blank paper.
This was absolutely NOT the year I expected Metro to win MLS Cup. After that second half of the season… honestly that would be so metro.
WHAT A BALL FROM THAT BEAUTIFUL FLAT EARTHER!!!
Days like this are only 2nd to Group stage of World Cup/Euro. Tyler Adams at 10am, Arsenal and USWNT at noon, and now get to watch RBNY hopefully make MLS Cup 🤞
It feels absolutely wild that 24 y/o right back Richie Ledezma has made 12 appearances for PSV this season (league/UCL/cups) and I don’t think people even know he exists anymore.
Malik Tillman is the first American to score a brace in the Champions League. And they were bangers.
Man City 3-3 Feyenoord…
Shcary, crazy, shpooky, hilarious
I especially loved a moment in the 2nd half where Riqui ran 30 yards back to his defender and took the ball off his feet instead of waiting 2 seconds for a pass. It was such a ludicrous display of “I’m the best player on the pitch give me the ball”
The version of Pulisic while falling down and shooting is actually the greatest player to ever live
Inter Miami really said, ‘Coaching experience? Nah, just text Messi and see if he likes you.’
Bold strategy!
And Mascherano is that person… how?
No hyperbole - on pure coaching talent I think Sartini is second only to Nancy in MLS. Whitecaps are making potentially one of the worst mistakes in league history.
Three years ago I did a scouting report on a then 18-year-old Ricardo Pepi at FC Dallas. Fast forward to this past weekend... a hat-trick hero at PSV and I think he deserves another breakdown.

Best part of being a soccer fan in America, you still get Champions League during Thanksgiving week.

“His daddy was a pistol… he’s a son of a gun” was not the commentary I was expecting in MLS playoffs 😂
