Came up with a workflow to create logos and signs using AI, auto-generate meshes in Houdini, and then apply a material in Unreal that lights up at sunset. Do you need assets like this? The ones in the video are free on our site, but I'm considering generating 100 more 😀

It only happens when you use Alt+drag, right? I usually just use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, and it stays in place

None of the data sources included lane numbers or street widths, so we had to estimate and calculate these in Houdini. This approach has its issues, but it allowed us to automate the background and focus manual modeling efforts on the points of interest.

The goal was to create a process usable for any location, reducing the need for manual modeling. The main issue was a lack of accurate data. We used Mapbox, which includes OpenStreetMap (OSM), to obtain the street network, building footprints, and heights as a starting point.

It was for a while now but loved this project. We created a workflow that auto-generates street networks & buildings in UE5 using Mapbox/OSM data. This test was based on Toronto, and I’m loving how it turned out. 🏙️✨

Hey All! Creating modular kits for UE5 with an automated material workflow. We bake mask maps and use vertex colors to control materials (wall,glass,etc) This way every model has 1 material channel. Do you see issues with this workflow? (It's free on our site)
