Even if we spend the next 10 years fixing everything, we have now shown the capacity to elect someone irrational and then be too scared to stop his worst impulses. I wouldn’t trust us if I were another country. It was happening before Trump but he really proved the theorem. Deep sigh.

Wish there had been more interesting light, but sometimes it is what it is.
Ebenezer Swamp, Alabaster, Alabama. 4x5 Tri-X from 1995. The 150mm lens can only do so much with such a busy scene but I still like these. I think I need a wide lens for the Intrepid.
Definitely why they pushed Tim Cook out. Apples greatest failure.
When you get a Minolta Maxxum 7000 for like 20 bucks at an estate sale, you throw in some Kentmere 400 (pushed to 800) and let it eat. Maxxums kinda rule. If you need a cheap autofocusing camera from the 80s you can definitely do worse.
Night blobs, Homewood, Alabama. Nikon D700 and it's legal to drive and shoot a DSLR here, I swear, officer.
Almost the literal opposite of west Blockton, it's Edgewood in Homewood.
ima need a 28 eventually, you are selling me hard on it. isn't the aperture a little fiddly? or do you just get used to it.
Nikon D700 update: I've listed it twice on ebay, then shot with it and then deleted the listing. Damn it. I guess I 'm keeping it. I also have a replacement 5D Classic on its way. the 2006 DSLR era continues. Guess I'll blast some Wilco and Hold Steady and make that mirror SLAP.
To be fair, I love all the Kentmeres. 100 is my first love, and 400 pushed to 800 is also god tier.
I'm starting a new religion about how Kentmere 200 is the one true Kentmere. Bronica ETRS and East uhh South-ish Birmingham? I don't know what to call this area. The area where the sun is out late in the day and the churches have limos.
The most hilarious side note about the Allbirds stuff is I got a pair for 20 bucks at the discount outdoor store that just opened here, and they are great. I wear them all the time.
Here's an unconverted negative. They have... a look. Not what I was hoping for. haha.
It was a clearly extremely expired roll of Gold 100.
I think this film may be bad?
Frozen for like 6 months while my buddy owned it, before then...who knows
It’s sealed. Can’t wait to find out if it’s trash or not
I love how the headlines act like what our president is doing is totally normal and well-considered
Maybe the first time I used the Velvia film sim on purpose.
No problem in the shooting
Oh wow so that’s a thing? Interesting.
I will never find out! I’ve never seen one that bad
"Excellent 3+"
Never met him but heard about him. Very cool! I'll definitely reach out or whatever. most of the time it's just little stuff but any time it's a bigger purchase I'll check with you for sure.
I dont think I knew you worked there, and I buy stuff for work occasionally. I'll start adding this to my list of sites. I do shop at B&H a lot but it feels a lot more impersonal than it used to.
Shot a Crown Graphic 2x3 with a Graflex 23 roll back on it and... it's fine. It didn't change my life. Kentmere 200. The lens is a triotar 137 I think? I dunno. I borrowed it from a friend and I'm giving it back to him I guess.
Yeah it is. The internet says otherwise. And it might be right! But not for me.
If you hang around long enough I’ll probably come back to it. I change cameras a lot.
I'm sad to report that despite taking some bangers, the Nikon D700 just doesn't have...it. It doesn't have whatever the 5D Classic does. Listen, it's a great, competent camera. But I'm here for...the juice. And the D700, sadly might I add, does not have the juice.
he got that Hunter Biden energy/ fuck around and break don jr's arm
