This is what a health care crisis looks like. 28,142 people in my district are at risk of losing coverage. 23,142 from Medicaid cuts. 5,000 from ending ACA tax credits. These are real people, real families. We should be lowering costs and expanding access, not taking health care away.

Trump says gas prices 'not very high' as most U.S. voters blame him for price spike Trump touted the rising stock market as he brushed off concerns that Americans are laboring under higher gas prices as a result of the Iran war.

Remember when they promised to lower costs? Gas prices are up and families are paying more at the pump. Americans deserve leadership that is focused on lowering costs and putting working people first.

Trump budget director defends 43% hike for defense spending, adds that doesn't count extra Iran war ask • Nevada Current WASHINGTON — The White House budget director on Wednesday defended the administration’s latest request for Congress, testifying before the House Budget Committee that a 43% increase in defense…

At a time when Nevada families are already stretched thin and dealing with rising costs, they're proposing a 43% increase in defense spending while cutting the programs people depend on. Working families should not be the ones footing the bill.

This is not complicated. If the government collects money, it was not authorized to take, it should be returned. That is what the RELIEF Act does. It puts money back in the pockets of small businesses that were hit with unfair tariffs.

Our health care system needs real reform, not reckless cuts that leave people behind. Right now, too many families are being forced to choose between groceries and their prescriptions. Today I spoke at a Ways and Means field hearing to highlight what’s actually working, like the ACA.

Average diesel prices hit record in Las Vegas, taking bigger bite out of budgets for businesses On Friday, April 3, the average diesel price hit $6.389 per gallon -- the highest average price AAA has ever recorded for our valley.

Las Vegas diesel hit a record $6.389 a gallon and Nevada small businesses are feeling every cent. They are not passing costs to customers. They are just bearing it and hoping things improve. Our workers and businesses deserve better than hope — they deserve real relief.

2.5 million Americans lost food aid in months after passage of GOP megabill, study finds • Nevada Current At least 2.5 million low-income people quickly lost help affording groceries under a Republican-passed law that added new requirements for the nation’s largest nutrition program and shifted hundreds…

The Republican’s big ugly bill already cost 2.5 million Americans their food assistance. Nevada families are feeling it. And with state funding cuts on the way, this gets worse before it gets better. Hungry families paid for corporate tax cuts. That is not acceptable.

National Public Health Week is a reminder that strong communities start with strong public health. In NV-04, too many families still face barriers to care. I’m fighting for healthier neighborhoods, better access, and the resources our communities need to thrive.

Housing shouldn’t be out of reach for working families. But in Nevada, people are getting priced out, not because they aren’t working hard, but because the system is rigged. This Fair Housing Month, I’m fighting to hold investors accountable and make housing work for people.

The headlines say it all. Nevada families, restaurants, manufacturers, and local shops were hit hard by illegal tariffs that raised costs across our state. Big corporations can fight in court. Small businesses can't. That's why I introduced the RELIEF Act, to get Nevadans their money back quickly.

My first stop on Congressman on the Job was Mario’s Grocery Store, a local market right in our district. I helped restock shelves and stock produce while talking with workers who have been there for over a decade. I saw it firsthand how grocery prices have climbed and workers are feeling priced out.

Costs are rising across Nevada.

Housing
Gas
Health Care

That’s not random
That’s the result of poor policy.

And Nevada families are paying the price

I’m focused on lowering costs and raising wages.

If this feels like a joke, it’s not a good one. Costs are up; wages aren’t keeping pace. And families are paying the price. April Fool’s Day comes once a year. The cost-of-living crisis is every day.

When Monopolists Act Above the Law: The Curious Case of Zillow - The Sling Seemingly unconstrained by antitrust law, Zillow appears to be using a proxy to exclude another entrant, Homes.com, in yet another market that Zillow dominates.

Nevadans are already being priced out of the housing market by corporate speculators. Now hedge funds are trying to limit competition to protect their investments. That is exactly the kind of market manipulation that drives up costs and hurts working families.

I’ve heard it across NV-04
Families are working and still getting priced out.

Wall Street is buying up homes.
Costs are rising faster than wages.

I introduced the HOME Act, UNLOCK Act, and Housing Transparency Act to fight back.

No complicated economics.
Just fairness.

The Medal of Honor represents extraordinary courage in the face of danger. Today we honor those who made that sacrifice. The best way we can show our gratitude is by making sure every service member and veteran gets the support they have earned.

Pentagon seeks $200B in additional funds for the Iran war It’s an extraordinarily high number and comes on top of extra funding the Defense Department already received last year in President Donald Trump’s big tax cuts bill.

Another $200 billion is being requested for this war. Meanwhile, families in Nevada are trying to keep up with rising prices every day. Groceries cost more. Rent is up. Bills keep piling on. We need to be focused on lowering costs here at home, not writing blank checks.

Tariffs are raising costs for American families. Groceries, materials, and everyday goods are more expensive. Now people are being told to fight to get their own money back. That is not relief.
My RELIEF Act provides automatic refunds to small businesses. No paperwork. No delays.
