It's official. I am President-Elect for the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada as of the end of April. I am both excited and terrified for the challenges and opportunities ahead! (a year as pres-elect, 2 years as pres, 1 year as past-pres).

@audreygiles.bsky.social is my favourite Canadian drowning-prevention researcher. She does amazing work in northern Canada!

I think the data exists. Sarah Newbery might know where to find it. It's simply not cool to cut out an area the size of France!
