Created by @worldchamp.bsky.social, Chord is a unique, experimental skirmish game that you play on the keys of a piano.
It is already shaping up to be one of my favourite games of 2026!
This weekend I attended @terminalcitycon.ca, a fantastic convention dedicated to all things board and tabletop gaming.
I got to play a lot of games at the con, so here are a few of my favourite finds!
This week I dive into the delightfully silly rules-lite #ttrpg THE TOO MANY CONANS PUBLIC DOMAIN TIME HEIST SQUAD.
A game where a group famous Conans head back in time to expand the public domain!
Oh! 😱 What a beautiful review! Thank you very much!
Masked Artist by @pinayu.bsky.social is a memorable solo-TTRPG that captures the messy nature of performance and the joy of finding your artistic voice.

"Yearning is an excellent solo-horror cave-diving TTRPG that all horror fans must experience at least once. Every element of the game works together to create a palpable atmosphere of creeping dread."

"It’s clear that everyone working on the game loves and deeply understands both the idol industry and the magical girl genre, as every mechanic has been given a themed flair that perfectly complements the genre."

"Beneath the Altar is a fascinating solo-journaling TTRPG that puts a new spin on classic vampire tropes. Through carefully written prompts and well-designed dice mechanics, the game perfectly balances its worldbuilding with personal drama."

"A Cold Day in January could have tried to emulate the numerous other events. However, if it had done this, it wouldn’t have captured the beautiful yet mundane experience of watching non-league soccer."

"Plus, the game is living proof of the inherent creativity of the indie TTRPG space, showing how independent designers take a wide range of influences and use them to create memorable games that push the boundaries of the medium."

"What makes it stand out is how well it captures that intangible x-factor that gives pro-wrestling its unique atmosphere. While many games attempt to imitate wrestling’s aesthetic, I’ve never found one that so perfectly captures the vibe of watching a real show."

"I’m with the Damned is one of those games that’s hard to do justice in review form. While reading the game, you’ll quickly realize that it’s something special, but it’s not until you play it that its true brilliance gets revealed."

"However, what makes Slumber Party Séance really stand out is its dedication to its theme. All of the text is dripping with early-2000s flair, and it is sure to reawaken long-dormant memories in the brains of players of a certain age."
