That’s funny, I thought of Cult of the Lamb after I posted this. Pretty much the only game that comes close. I’ve never played Moonlighter but it’s now on my list 🙂

I’m playing the original again for the first time since I was a kid and it still holds up so well. It’s the game that made me love weird asymmetrical game loops.

Where are all the Actraiser-like games?

Balatro at the number 1 spot of course, and I’m pretty sure most of my Infinite Wealth playtime was spent on Dondoko Island. Also if you enjoy roguelike deckbuilders and haven’t played Wildfrost, definitely check it out.
