G is for Geode. And that's good enough for me.
Nothing like great art!
Why Apple Watch, would you set up a gesture to dismiss a notification when you flick your wrist?
(Which seems to be the same gesture as when you quickly glance at your watch)
🤣🤣

If you're both history lovers, you'll always have something to talk/argue about ;)

What would happen if everyone who was unlawfully detained got together and launched a class action lawsuit?

A page from "Master Race" showing book burnings, attacks on the Jewish community, and prisoners at concentration camps.
Today is the birthday of artist Bernard Krigstein (March 22, 1919-Jan. 8, 1990). He drew for EC Comics & Mad magazine, and illustrated books, magazines, & albums. Also a painter & teacher, he is best remembered in comics for Master Race, the 1955 EC Comics story about the horrors of the holocaust.
From the animated trailer of "Monsters We Make" vol.3 (CoryxKenshin's comics).
Directed by Mattis Dovier at Les Monstres studio (France).

RIP Sam Kieth. Damn this one hurts. His art style was cartoony and detailed in the best possible ways. His covers for Detective comics are unlike anything else of its era.
Sam Kieth did not bend for comics. Comics bent to him. I won't call his manner of drawing merely a style because that implies some level of artifice. Maybe not since Kirby had mainstream comics seen an artist with less filter between his imagination and the printed page.

I needed to goof off a bit after trying to get my tax info together.
Ah yes, accidentally spending royalty cheques that hit my account but are so small that I don’t notice they are there.

art is an enemy of capitalism because art exists for fun and anyone can make it
