This book has been such an amazing read. It examines the consequences of colourism in a multigenerational home of women in a poor area in Jamaica. It’s quite a long book. But I dare say it’s worth it.

I loved this book. It’s an ode to the Harlem Renaissance and Black Hollywood. In this book a director and the lead actress in his movie have this intense connection and they struggle with it. It also speaks on chronic illness and familial relationships. 4/5 ⭐️ #booksky #books #bookreview

I finally got to this book and it was so good. VE Schwab has a way of storytelling that’s so unique and easy to engage with. To me this is a story about knowing when to fight against the darkness and when to make peace with it, maybe even having someone see and understand your darkness. #booksky

Love a good YA fantasy romance murder mystery set in Egypt. Inez is told that her parents were murdered and she goes to Egypt to find them. 3.5/5⭐️ #books #booksky
