The new Fantastic Four trailer was great. Besides the VFX on Silver Surfer, the movie looks special. I’m excited.

One of the most disappointing and poorly constructed seasons of tv I’ve watched & an absolute downgrade from what came before. I’m kind of baffled by this whole thing since the studio was handed 3 seasons of an A+ adaptation to run with from the previous team.

Absolute Mr. Freeze is such a cool, creepy, weird, & interesting reinvention of the character. I’m excited to see where Scott Snyder and Marcos Martin take the story.

This is really unfair to everyone who just voted for him for the racism.

Rereading through issue #32 of the Bendis/Maleev Daredevil run and got hit with the most lovely shot of nostalgia. What a beautiful time & era. I wish I could go back.

This has been the only live action superhero thing to bring me legitimate happiness in awhile. Amazing. Can’t wait.

I will finish this piece of crap show. I can do it. Just two more weeks.

Born Again episode 7

Unfortunately, although it’s a new director (which is good), it’s still the same writers as the previous 3 movies which I can’t stand so even though I do like his quote here, I remain skeptical.

This is really great news. I will be seated in theaters for it!

Legit horrendous adaptation and show in general

I can’t believe they managed to somehow make Muse even less interesting and cool in the show than the comics

He felt totally shoehorned in. No setup or buildup, no powers, no personality. DD meeting him was super rushed too. It’s like they took what little good stuff there was & got rid of that too

Catching up. Absolute Flash was good! They don’t give you a ton but Lemire sets this version of Wally West up well as a character, it’s visually really interesting & cool thanks to Nick Robles’ artwork, & it was nice seeing (spoiler character) pop up. I don’t think that’s the last we’ll see them.

With each passing week Daredevil continues to be disappointing. I’m holding out until the end so I can fairly say I watched the whole season but sheesh.

tbh, you can say this about Soule’s entire run. He introduces some potentially interesting concepts but doesn’t really explore them in a deep & meaningful way to make them compelling. It’s mostly surface level & things wrap up too easily or fast despite being a 40+ issue run.

It’s kinda funny seeing people hype up Muse for Born Again because in the comics he’s such a nothing character. He’s essentially just a cool concept with a creepy design & gimmick but that’s it. Soule didn’t really do anything interesting with him at all.

I gave up on the new run so idk what’s going on but yeah this would be dope. Fornes is soooo underrated too.

Lmao idk why that studio is so obsessed and hellbent on giving so many of their characters more or less the same costume design but tweaked slightly. Daredevil’s costume is so simple yet so effective & they keep fumbling it each time with more and more bulky armor & that ugly helmet. Drives me crazy

They got my boy running around in ugly generic MCU armor when he should be rocking something like this. All you need to say is the material is armored like we’ve seen with Fisk’s dress suits & Matt’s previous suits & call it a day. It’s a comic book show, no one should question it, nor should they.

It’s fantastic & despite it being very fun & seemingly lighthearted, it’s also a lot darker & more complex than people think in a way because the entire time Matt is essentially lying to himself & putting on facade of a happier person because if he doesn’t he’ll go insane from all his trauma.

Had to send this to a few people because they thought him doing that in BA was out of character but it’s not

Charlie Cox needs to shave that beard. It doesn’t look good with the cowl and he just in general looks better with just some stubble. (Yes I’m aware of the King DD look. I don’t like it).
