Dinamo Zagreb struggling really badly with injuries and form at the moment. We simply have to finish them off on Tuesday.

Ultimately, these clubs won't be happy until they have their Super League. It's an inconvenience for them to play teams from smaller leagues.
Terrific! Definitely makes a difference when we're doing well in the tournament β the noise during the anthem has been particularly deafening this year β‘οΈ
The format is so much better for clubs like ours. For a start, you actually play two teams from your own pot β at least in theory a couple of winnable games β but there's more jeopardy drawing different teams from every other pot. When/where you play them, form, injuries etc.
While a win would have been preferable, that was a must-not-lose game. They now have Sporting, Juve and Man City, while we have Dinamo, Young Boys and Villa. The other night wasn't the best result we've had this season, but it could be the most significant.
For anyone wondering how important the point against Brugge could be...
Top 24 finish

And that's why Brendan is paid the big bucks. Night and day. KΓΌhn is on another level. Bring on Brugge! π
Big chance to put daylight between ourselves and Aberdeen. Up the Celts! πͺ
Why are the π»s booing? They've just closed the gap on Aberdeen to eight points! π

We're short on creative players β wingers, strikers, a real no. 10. Poland created next to nothing at Hampden β our carelessness lost us the points. We've also outperformed them against the other teams in the group. It would be a big disappointment to finish below them.
I wouldn't say it's essential, but I think in the eyes of most fans, winning in Poland tonight would go a long way to repairing the damage done at the Euros. What better way to bounce into a new campaign than with back-to-back wins against solid opposition π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώπͺ
I was on the fence about Clarke after the Euros, but the performances over this Nations League campaign (with a largely depleted squad) have been good β much better than anything we produced in Germany. We can look forward to the World Cup qualifiers with renewed optimism.

McLean was dreadful tonight. He simply can not start against Poland.
Wasn't perfect, but we did what we had to. Gives us a chance on Monday.
Don't mind that team at all. Mon eh Scotland! πͺ

Three years since we lost the one and only Bertie Auld.
Here's one of his best stories:
John Greig and Bertie in the tunnel before an Old Firm. John asked, βWee man, what bonus are you on today?β
"Β£3,β Auld replied. βYou?β
βThat all,β Greig laughed βIβm on Β£6.β
"Aye, but I'm guaranteed Β£3,β π€£
Like many others, I have gone for the 'follow everyone and see what sticks... curate later on' approach π
