I love that vindication of, when you struggle with a level or something in a game, you go and Google "<level name> too hard", and find out that you're not the only one.

It's hard to overstate how important it is to have multiple testers for your game, I'm finding.
I've had 6+ now, and still new testers find the strangest bugs that have been hiding in the game for a long time.
It's fascinating, and yet terrifying to imagine what else is likely lurking in there...

Managed to nap decently after today's appointment, so hopefully I can sleep at my usual time tonight, and do tomorrow's Doom stream!
If not, I might move it to another day this week. I wanna stream!

Chances are the rest of the week will have to be cancelled too. I've had to shift my sleep schedule a bit for upcoming surgery related stuff, so it might take me a bit to get back into the rhythm.
Whenever the surgery happens, that'll likely interfere too.
Uncertain times!

Might end up needing to cancel Monday's Dragon Quest stream this coming week due to some schedule stuff that's sure to make me very tired on Monday and Tuesday, but we'll see how things go.

That is a nice benefit to the too many ideas problem - When ready to start a new thing, or just want a change of scenery for a bit, there's plenty of choice!
Additionally, fun to look back on old project ideas that never came to be from years long past.

Creativity is truly a wonderful yet frustrating thing. So many ideas, so little time.
Sometimes one wishes it was possible to just imagine them all into existence. For all those finished projects to just exist, ready to be played in an instant.

Very much agree. I respect Noita, and love the concept, but it gets super old dying over and over to what feels like unreasonable bs. Especially when you finally had a good run going with a fun wand.

I did a good thing, and I'm proud of myself.
Sometimes it's important to recognise when a feature that's really not necessary would take far too long to implement, and stop yourself.
Feature Creep is defeated this day, and I have saved myself many hours!

It seems like the ulcer is healing enough now that I should be back to streaming on Monday, with Dragon Quest XI.
I was dreading at least another week of dealing with it, but now I don't have to do as many weird mouth movements to avoid irritating it when I talk or eat, so should be good!

One of my favourite things in this game making process is, sometimes I'll look at some programming that I haven't had to touch in a long time, and realise how inefficient it is.
Was able to make a big improvement and hopefully optimisation boost today!

On the bright side, more time to work on Dragon Dreams!
