Hey Alberta! Heads up!
Rising COVID hospitalizations in Alberta.
Although gov't is no longer publicly reporting hospital outbreaks (last report April 16, 2025), there are now 4 hospitals on outbreak.
Rockyview, Royal Alex, Leduc, and Miseracordia.
Haven't this many outbreaks in a long time. 1/

Debates (Hansard) No. 7 - June 3, 2025 (45-1) - House of Commons of Canada Debates (Hansard) No. 7 - June 3, 2025 (45-1) - House of Commons of Canada

“From 1981 to 2015, there were an average of 18 smoke hours per year in the city of Calgary. No year had over 100.

Now we see hundreds of smoke hours routinely: 315 in 2017, 450 in 2018, 439 in 2021, 512 in 2023, and 2024 was ‘only’ 200.”

Don’t get measles. Get immunized. Alberta’s government is expanding measles immunizations access and launching a new advertising campaign to raise awareness and help prevent the spread.

Shit must be hitting the fan if they're doing this. This is much more direct than their fall vaccination campaigns that were like, "Do this thing to prevent the sicknesses we won't name and we won't really tell you how." 210 cases too late but glad to see it. #ableg www.alberta.ca/release.cfm?...

THIS IS HUGE! Researchers at Scripps Research Institute have developed a groundbreaking UNIVERSAL coronavirus vaccine that triggers STONG immune responses AND shows promise in neutralizing MULTIPLE coronaviruses, including those responsible for causing COVID-19, MERS, AND even the “common cold.” 🧪🧵⬇️

✨NEW EPISODE 🎧 Even 5 years into the ongoing COVID pandemic, public health leaders have stuck to the idea that sprayed droplets are the main way COVID (+influenza etc) spread. But a lot of disease transmission happens through the air we share and many people still don’t know 1/

The first measles death in the US in a decade -- the tragic, preventable death of a child whose parents chose not to protect them with vaccination -- should spark an immediate nation-wide campaign to ensure all children are protected against preventable diseases. Anything less is unconscionable.

Smith on science: “You actually hear different viewpoints, so that you can make solid decisions on what you hear.”

Nope. Science is synthesizing a body of EVIDENCE gained through repeated and thorough experimentation that tests a hypotheses.

Go back to school, Danielle.
