When I see junior employees parroting the views of the most senior people (that absolutely do not benefit those same junior employees).

With Artemis permeating the social consciousness, it feels like the right time for a confession…
Whenever I see/hear content from NASA missions I get tearfully emotional. The themes of discovery ‘for all mankind’ genuinely break my heart for what we could accomplish if we actually worked together.
Watching Sinners last night for the first time since seeing it in the cinema was an education. That film is simply incredible. From the moment it starts it sets a mood and never lets up. Extraordinary.
“We always seem to have money for war. But not to feed the poor.”
"Magataotao" on Twitter writes: "I am Catholic. This👇is not my Pope." Attached is a video of the Pope saying that we should search for peace and reject war. A community note under their tweet says: "You are not a Catholic if you do not accept the Pope, but rather a schismatic. Canon 751: “Schism is the refusal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff,” ie. the Pope. https://www.vatican.va/archive/cod-iuris-canonici/eng/documents/cic_lib3-cann747-755_en.html"
first in my bloodline to see someone get excommunicated by a community note
A week with the Artemis II mission and seeing Hoppers at the cinema has radicalised me more than anything else could.
NASA + Pixar = Environmental Socialism
Photo of three men standing on top of rocky terrain. One is wearing a blue zip-up jacket with a blue chambray shirt and tan chinos. One is wearing a green-black checkered jacket with red chamois shirt, white pants, and cowboy hat. The other is wearing a blue parka with with blue jeans.
Two photos. In the first, three men are wearing bomber jackets with blue or white jeans. In the second image, one man is wearing an off white (possibly chamois?) shirt with blue jeans. Another is wearing a blue denim trucker with blue jeans. A third is wearing a blue quilted parka.
Two photos of groups of men. They are wearing Nordic sweaters, olive bomber jackets, flight suits, black-green checkered jackets, cowboy hats, beanies, and jeans.
Two photos. In one, there's a man wearing a brown tweed with a checked shirt. In the other photo, men are wearing bomber jackets and high-waisted cotton pants.
The Artemis II mission reminds me of these 1960s photos of NASA astronauts training in Iceland because they felt the terrain would be similar to what they'd encounter on the moon. The outfits are so great, even some 60 years later.
Look at this guy! Pays no rent. Does no chores. Has the audacity to lounge like an absolute prince.

What the fuck does he need a library for? We all know he’s never picked up a book in his life (unless he was selling it).

Last night saw me play my first game of Star Wars Unlimited. Finally playing it has given me real appreciation for it. That, plus the comfortable Star Wars setting and familiarity, means I’m really into it now.
Uh-oh. Dangerous.
Every once in a while you come across an item and just know, in your very soul, that it is not for you. This ‘golf bag cigar humidor’ is one of those items.
I suppose. How does rolling your car into a ditch compare with an Uber Exec, really?
You know what I’d do if I was a millionaire celebrity out for a drink? I’d get a fucking cab.

Oh man. Project Hail Mary is phenomenal. I know that’s not an original take but it’s true. Ryan Gosling man… What a full blown movie star in the best possible way.
Taking my first steps into a whole new world of card gaming. Wish me luck.

Saw a video earlier where a guy paid $400 for a Magic booster from 1994. He opened the pack and got cards worth about $10. True madness.
And I’m already considering a bunch of different decks to build. I DO NOT fully understand the rules and yet I’ve got three different deck ideas in my head.
Absolutely. I’ve been thinking about ripping open packs for the thrill of finding cool cards, not caring about rarity or cost.
Sometimes you simply refuse to be burdened with knowledge…
In the time it’s taken me to write this post, I could have looked up Clavicular’s real name but I’m not sure I’m ready to be burdened by that knowledge.
I’m not convinced that a weekend which includes attendance at children’s birthday parties should actually count as a weekend.

Always on silent, but when it’s not it’s the theme for our self-produced webseries, Ramblers.
This feels like 1 of X pictures in a series, and now I need to draw yellow, green, and red ones...
I spent a good portion of today volunteering at my old high school. I got given a tour at the end and I have to confess I got a little bit emotional. Not like they were my best years, but still.
