Learning to Create Real Things as a 3D Modeler for Games Late last year, I had the opportunity to build on my 3D modeling skills I used for game development to create real objects that solve real-world problems.

So anyway, the games industry is crumbling, I'm trying to figure out what skills are transferable to other careers, and I recently learned how I could use my modeling skills for making Real Things that Solve Real Problems.

I'm recovering from this flare a bit every day which is the most I could ask for. I didn't know I could sleep so hard and for so long.

Hopefully I'll be well enough to be useful for our move to Philadelphia. Looking forward to starting a new chapter.

I woke up one morning and most of my left side felt like it fell asleep and wouldn't recover from the pins and needles feeling. I had to spend a week in the hospital. Ultimately the doctors told me, 'Happy Birthday, you have Multiple Sclerosis.'

I was already pretty sure I saw the end of my 12+ year career in games come to an end, but now it feels certain.
