New post up on the High Road Papers.
Introducing the H.I.G.H. Framework!
To be followed soon by the R.O.A.D. Framework.
See what I did there? H.I.G.H. + R.O.A.D. = High Road.
I know, crazy clever... 😁

Pretty sure I’ve never quoted Aurelius until now.

There's a new post up on The High Road Papers. It's a winding, sometimes difficult path, but loaded with life and professional benefits.

The latest post on the new site is up. (Almost time to drop "new"...)

New post up on the High Road Papers.
Exploring times and situations when taking the high road may not be the best option, and the keys to figuring out when to do so and when to take a more practical path and speak up.

Screenshot of a WordPress page with center text highlighted that took me a freaking hour to figure out how to do.
Despite the fact it took me almost an hour to center this, I'm enjoying getting back into building a #WordPress site...
(And @briangardner.com's Powder theme rocks.)
PS: It's not WordPress or the theme. It's me.

This is fun. And remarkably accurate (which can be terrifying to those concerned about AI's world takeover).

My new site, HighRoadPapers.com is live!
Thanks to the visitors and subscribers who've stopped by.
It's been a while since the writing bug has bitten me.
I don't intend to tell you to always take the high road (in fact, there are times you shouldn't); I just want to share some thoughts and ideas.
Thanks, Jim!
It's fun to get the writing bug about a passion...
How much traffic do you think this site has gotten lately from people looking for something else?

Me too, Jack. Kind of reminds me of "Old Twitter" (like 10+ years ago.)
I wonder how long until "gurus" and advertising dollars will wreck it?
In my past life as a Zillow employee, fending off vitriol spewed by brand haters, I adopted the "high road philosophy."

And so ends five years of litigation...
Welcome! I'm digging it.
Nifty little Bluesky feature. You can change your kinda awkward "@name.bsky.social" username and go with a domain name you own.
Need to know how to add a DNS record, but it's not terribly complicated. How-to link in comments.
And you for the follow back!

My friends in the real estate industry know I support the National Association of Realtors, but they aren't making it easy...

Suddenly, I feel old.
I went to Twitter today to delete my account. Scrolling back through the memories made me a weepy mess. So many amazing people and fun times!
Despite the fact that place is nothing but a shit show and a full-time job blocking asshats, I just couldn't pull the trigger. Yet.
Gonna try this place.
