"you don't even have a dog" he has children in his classroom and he literally calls them "my kids" and he cares about them deeply and he cares about science and he most definitely cares about life enough to kick and scream and claw at the ground and shout, through tears, "i don't want to die"

i really really like the bold stripe aroace reading of grace phm cause like . he got told "you don't have a gf cause you're scared of being brokenhearted" when he literally cries over his friends' deaths . he KNEW they were on a one-way mission lightyears away from home but still befriended them

ykw the more i think about this the funnier it feels that people are finding this guy hot when he's The token aroace guy for a good majority of phm tumblr . the walking stereotype of an ace person somehow getting people to think they're hot (idk how it works for acted characters but whatever)

Mii of the Dell Dimension 2400 in Tomadachi Life Living the Dream for the Nintendo Switch, with long flowing hair

my girlfriend asked if she could make a Mii for my island and handed this back to me 30 minutes later.

don't look away from the boy whose smile sparks a flame
reclaimed, a crying shame that you don't feel the same!

'pon the boundaries of sight unseen
irony lives and breathes
in rest
(in grief)
it's her or me
baby, who's it gonna be?

7 hours ago 1 0 1 0

did you know her?
her dreams, her aspirations
one single sentence
address the rest, so tell me how you knew her
embellish your relation
pain that you feign for a stranger 'cause you'd rather see me gone!

gracious!
the charges pile up
a guilty conscience, case open and shut
but wait, your honor!
it's such a noble cause!
it's not like the victim's here to see your jaded justice done!

technically the official audio does not have lyrics (just subtitles in game) you could try looking for a video of someone playing it Or you can listen to a cover with vocals :3

industrial city, caterpillar inc.

theres these structures, right as you cross into the outskirts of the city, that look like skeletons of buildings. every room a perfect cube, and theres always at least one piece of graffiti. sometimes i wonder how they got up there to do it, there never seems to be any stairs. they look so frail that if i didnt know, i'd think the walls would be what is left. i saw a building being demolished, there was still the frame of a bed. i think i saw it yesterday, but i've been driving long enough that only the taxi meter could tell the distance, and even that is off.

there's a lot you start to notice when you have to keep your eyes peeled. youd think i'm looking only straight ahead, and perhaps thats what i'm supposed to do. but i still catch things, it's like, something grazing your bootheel. can't look away now, can you? the further you go the rougher the road, and i heard stories about how it was paved. couple years arguing with the city and they never did finish, did they? suppose i cant blame them, just a bunch of kids, the new ones. they'd climb the scaffolding and tell ghost stories about eachother. sometimes they'd stay the night, i saw the glimmer of the campfires they built through my window, sometimes i catch myself thinking they were right. between the sparks of cutting metal and the stars showing up by the day. every other dozen kilometers i stop, wondering if i should've dragged them out here too, make sure they're unscathed. the buildings are only so sturdy, some i would pay to see taken down. meshes that used to be green dangling limply from the sides, floors upon floors of termites and i'd bet somebody's proud they're still up.

i sure know you're not. i stop the car, there's nobody for a couple dozen kilometers both ways, not even the thought. you were always jumpy, first up in the morning and what. first one out. cranes towered above like a sign of good luck on the skyline but you knew how it was. now you're stuck in that hellhole like the rest of them, as if you forgot all the time that we spent on our own demolition just to ensure we'd wake up again.

fuck.

fuck.

a roadkill cat. must've been a long way it came, no way to get up here except forward or back through the highway. how long must it've been here... and it was on my side of the road. only drive how we do because of some old deulers, from a past so foreign learning it's useless. and it's not like anyone would be coming our way. i spat and it landed on the cat's body. i wished i could do something for it. if it was thirsty id've given it water.

but i hadn't been the one to hit it, and for that i couldn't care. by the time i looked back up billboards had sprung.
every cell a different message, forming phone numbers as i looked up. a new complex being built just on the other side, i'm midway and you'll chase me out no matter where i go. and i may not be flagship, but i carry the flagpole we used to plant to claim what they abandoned, perhaps i do it to overcompensate for my betrayal. i switch lanes speeding up, just to save my conscience while the vinyl on the scaffold frays, for you chose to keep on driving, while i just ran away.

I will shill the book always but if your brain waves are out of phase to the configuration that allows you to sit through 500 pages of written text where at least a quarter of it is science nerd stuff then GO WATCH THE MOVIE RAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH (and even if you do read it go watch anyway . good stuff)

1 day ago 1 0 0 0

anyways it's also visually stunning I don't think I've conveyed just how beautiful it is and also the sheer amount of love and effort put into the movie............... the book and movie are both wonderful on their own but together you could make an amazing canon soup
