I've played the original BITS classic. This is an excellent scenario for Zhodani Travellers.

Already working on the next episode of Signals from the Core, about prepping players for a sandbox adventure touring the Core Sector as the crew of a luxury liner and was curious ... Traveller referees out there - how do you like to prep your players for games in your Traveller universe?
"Hoist the Jump Drive!" all aboard for the most epic of epic campaigns as we discuss Traveller and Pirates of Drinax in the latest GROGPOD.

"Abbreviated Architect of Worlds for #Traveller" has been extensively revised, laid out, and is now off to
@kenburnside.bsky.social for an editing pass. With any luck, it will be available from #adastragames by May Day.
There's an item checked off my list for April!

Probably the Alternate Earths books. I'd have bought a dozen of those.
Traveller tonight! Short 2 tonight, but Traveller must go on! Team Agamemnon failed ALL THE ROLLS, but nevertheless through canny roleplaying managed to extract some actionable intel from the agricultural Lander houses of Vaccaro. A plan is beginning to come together.
Phase 2 is now complete with some additional fixes implemented. Phase 3 will be architectural and performance improvements; right now the whole (large) map re-renders when zooming or showing/hiding any filters. Gotta fix that - with the size of the current dataset, it's starting to chug.
Thanks! As it stands, it is structually sloppy, the UI needs work, and various features need improvement. But overall, I'm very happy with progress so far.
Current state. Some issues with polity borders have been exposed by the addition of more data - now at 12 sectors. Next up is a polishing pass to eliminate some minor issues and introduce additional minor refinements. Performance is also something I'll need to address sooner rather than later.
It will; I explicitly built it to work on any incoming data formatted correctly. Stay tuned.
Polity borders are in. Needs tweaking, but it's acceptable now; many code segments have been harmed by the numerous passes it took to get this working.
Importantly, the borders are derived from the actual sector data's affiliation code, not inserted manually by the user.
It ought to be a serious improvement on the (IMO) kinda turdly GDW House System.
Today's achievement: Dark Mode. Displaying Traveller maps in the time-honored fashion of our grandparents. Well, *your* grandparents.
You can also now toggle basically any map element on or off.

Still better than Xhitter, though.
Randos tagging me in on horseshit can expect to get blocked.
Possible. Right now it's still a proof-of-concept with a meandering roadmap of potentially nutty ideas.
As a veteran of a thousand unfinished projects, I am leery of announcements.
That said, I've designed it in such a way as to work with *anybody's* data, not just mine.
*That* said, the proof of concept is already working. If progress continues to be good, I plan to make it available on GitHub.
There's a lot you can do with the travellermap API. It's an amazing tool.
There's certainly precedent. Travellermap is incredible, but it presumes the existence of a settled, official dataset. This will work on *anybody's* data.
