The Artemis II mission has made me believe in humanity again
Starting the first episode of Rooster…Steve Carrell is such smoke show
We are potentially launching WW3 (now that a UK RAF base has been bombed in Cypress) and @cnn.com is hitting me with “you’re out of free articles.” This is how you become an obsolete news source.
The president didn't bother to make the case for war in a marathon State of the Union address and then he fucked off to his sweaty gilded country club so he could literally phone in an unconstitutional war.
Every single Democrat needs to be screaming about this at full volume.
Ending this operation is not enough.
We need justice and accountability. That starts with independent investigations into the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, economic restitution for businesses impacted, abolishing ICE, and the impeachment of Kristi Noem.
Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.
“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.
I thought the production and the dynamic shooting was skilled and resonant. They knew they were unlikely to be understood by the majority of viewers, so they made sure to paint as vivid a visual picture as possible
I’m not a huge Bad Bunny fan (which after his may change) but I have like, surface level knowledge of what’s going on. The sugar cane, the power grids, the small business, all distinctly Puerto Rican.
OK "god bless america" and then naming every country in the americas from south to north is absolute king shit
the brilliant bad bunny performing at the super bowl with a giant billboard that says THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE behind him
i'm sorry but if you didn't enjoy that it's definitely a you problem
halftime show
what a shot
10/10, fantastic #halftime show. Incredible storytelling
I personally wanna know if that couple was married irl at the Super Bowl #halftime
It was evocative and purposeful. The lawn chairs are symbolic—-that’s why they’re the dtmf album cover

7. Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I chose this one because it was published the year I was born. What a fun romp! It was charming and delightfully silly. 4⭐️
6. Lights Out by Navessa Allen. I read it for one of my library’s new book clubs. interesting spicy content but the consistently dumb and cheesy behavior wears thin on my nerves. 3⭐️
5. Mostly Void, Partially Stars by Joseph Fink. This book is the first 25 episodes of Welcome to Night Vale with bonus info and commentary, it was very interesting and nostalgic. 4⭐️
TiL that in Mexico (on Plaza Sesamo), Cookie Monster is called Lucas, el monstruo comegalletas (Lucas, the monster who eats cookies). 🍪
all this is both foolish and unnecessary
4. Prayer for the Crown Shy by Becky Chambers. Figured I’d go for the set. Still a reread at 5⭐️, still for in love with Chambers’ optimistic humanity
3. Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers. For my library’s adult fiction book club. A reread for me, but still 5⭐️. I love how Becky Chambers gives us such a hopeful imagining of the future while still getting to the raw crux of the human condition.
2. Mister Magic by Kiersten White. For my library’s horror book club. Amazing hook. Reminded me of Welcome to Night Vale and LonelyGirl15 (if that isn’t too old of a reference) 5⭐️
1 - House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. This was a reread for me, but a first time read with my teenager. We just happened to finish it in the new year. 5 ⭐️ from both of us
