There is a way to check if they are AI

Right, and Trump is following his footsteps

We have something similar in Canada

I don’t know, but everyone can grow and improve.
Reminding them of where they came from is not always helpful.
Telling them they are not allowed to improve would have been plain stupid.

I’m postponing a trip to South America that requires landing and switching planes in Houston until 2029, when hopefully a more reasonable administration is in place.

It is Carney all the way now

To me, it is more important that he is doing the job he is doing. When Trump originally pointed β€œa gun” at us, I don’t think anyone expected us to be in as good a shape as we are now. Everyone seemed to have expected a disaster.
The press conferences the PM does, seem to be sometimes very long.

I don’t miss it. I would rather get a variety of questions. A single reporter comes with a single bias and most of our media is owned by the US MAGA owners.

You mean with a single reporter, and not several reporters? I think CBC has done both full interviews with MC and PP in December. I remember that Rosie went full attack mode on MC and was very gentle with PP.

I believe the last one was 5 days ago. You can view it for example on CTV

Isn’t he doing those regularly, but they last longer?

This one was nice and short. Something that many Canadians could spare a few minutes for.

Trump would not even know how to be nice

With what exactly? I don’t recall sharing what I believe in πŸ™„

… and you know that how? πŸ™„

As far as I know, nobody has proof that God does or doesn’t exist. It is all about what we choose to believe in, which may or may not be based on logic.

Probably this would ensure that Conservatives stay in power. When do people learn that progress happens in small steps and not big jumps?

Except I didn’t say that.

Let us say the price of bread would have increased by 15 cents without fuel tax cuts and would increase by 10 cents with the fuel tax cut.
Both price increases would likely stay in place after fuel costs drop and the fuel tax is reinstated. Which one do you prefer?

Consumers of gas will pay less tax than they would have otherwise. No passing on of savings there.
Prices will rise due to rising oil costs. They will only grow less.
Businesses will still need to watch how much they can afford to raise prices. (No passing on of savings, only smaller increases).

Duh. Isn’t it obvious? Gas/Diesel prices are included in our grocery prices.

Prices are not going down. In fact they are guaranteed to go up because of the war.
Tax cuts at the pump are meant to lower our costs to be offset by higher taxes oil companies will be paying to the government because of the higher revenues they will have

$5 less per fill-up plus less expensive groceries due to lower diesel prices works for me.
If I were a millionaire, I wouldn’t care about the savings.

…. plus less inflation caused by increasing gas prices.

I would imagine that would be the biggest relief that many people would not even realize they are receiving.
