As russia was bombing his native Kharkiv, 14 y.o. Roman Dehtiarov refused to leave his country.
Instead, he trained under missiles.
Today, he became a European Chess Champion, initially seeded 126th.
A true Ukrainian spirit — breaking through against all odds🇺🇦

Not enough people are talking about this.
Hungary’s incoming PM has said that Viktor Orbán used Hungarian government funds to help finance CPAC, the flagship networking event for GOP candidates, members of Congress, and conservative media in this country.
I have a feeling it will be hard to tell the difference between the pre onion content and the onion content.
PSA: wear a helmet on those electric scooter things. They go pretty fast. Just this morning we had to call an ambulance for a student here with a possible concussion after she hit a pothole on the sidewalk. Not sure how things worked out, I had to go to teach, and there were enough others around.
This is what "viewpoint diversity", "freedom of speech", and "saving Western civilization" looks like in Texas.
We’re defending Western Civilization by kicking Plato and Shakespeare out of university classes.
Measures like unemployment rate are imperfect and methodology varies by country. Other local peculiarities also come into play. E.g. the "informal economy" is much smaller in Germany or Nordic countries. Some of those unemployed in Spain are actually employed "off the books".
Reporter: If you don’t have a deal by Wednesday, will you extend the ceasefire or restart attacks? Trump: Maybe I won’t extend it… and we’ll have to start dropping bombs again.

All they have is the oil, the land above it, the waterway down which it must float, a country full of people who hate the U.S. for all the times we have done exactly what we're doing now, and an opponent who is among the dumbest people ever to walk the earth.
You're trying to put "thought" and "Ron Johnson" in the same sentence. It can't be done.
NEW: US intelligence indicates that China is preparing to provide Iran with air defense systems in a matter of weeks, CNN reported. Beijing is expected to ship shoulder-fired, surface-to-air missiles known as Man-Portable Air Defense Systems.

Each spring you get a few new paddles out of the existing ones. So at first it's going a bit slowly, but after a couple of years it will be growing like crazy.
Impossible to disagree with a single word that Ben Rhodes (Obama era NSC official) is saying here:
