Just learned that yellow-rumpled warblers are sometimes known as butterbutts. Nature is amazing.

Great news for Winnipegers, the yellow warblers are back

Today one of my neighbours came up to me all excited to show me his Merlin app and how many birds he had in his backyard yesterday and talk about how great the birds they see are now that I feed them all the time. I AM A PUBLIC SERVANT.
