I am finding out that I don't fear being quietly quiet. Too many around me are too loud. My voice can wait for those that truly want to listen.

Lose the hunger for approval, the urge to compare, the guilt in rest, the fear of expression.

Letting these fall away matters as much as any milestone.

What remains is space to exist without measure, to move without witness, to become without permission.

There are days when I wish I could upload my memories to a cloud, store them offline, so I won't stumble upon, so they won't keep my up at night, so they won't intrude on my current path. I am grateful for those days when I can handle them, blow by them, conquer what needs to be conquered.

Love shows up in many ways
Parents who tried, who failed who carried their own storms.
Friends & lovers who stayed for a while, then drifted.
I wonder what it feels like
to be nurtured to be held
without earning it
to be taken care of without question
as if that kind of love isn’t just a fairytale.

She offers softness, attention, a willingness to be guided; he offers presence, care, and structure. It isn’t control without care; it’s a balance, where boundaries are honored, and connection deepens through chosen vulnerability.

I have dared to dream, dared to hope. I knew it wouldn't be easy. And it may yet never come together. But I will still be here, on this path, the only one I wish to tread.

I am mentally exhausted, and emotionally frayed. Life is too tough at times. It's bad enough I'm dealing with so much in my own life (money, kids, my anxieties), but events around us have me scared and furious. Deep breaths and reading can only help me escape so far. I hope all of you are surviving.

I'm not one to think of January 1 as a new beginning. I see it as just another day. But my wish for you is that the coming days, weeks, and months ahead bring you what you hope for the most.

Just because we have good things in our life doesn't mean we shouldn't be sad. We are allowed to mourn things and people lost, or just be sad because life can be tough at times. I do hope though that you can find some peace.

Everyday we all face the challenges of life. No matter how big or small, it can be harrowing. We all have different strengths, different thresholds, different needs. Let's give grace to everyone around us, and make life a little easier for all.
