The NW Highlands - unbeatable scenery and great walks - the area around Ullapool in particular. If staying closer to the Central Belt a trip over to the Isle of Arran would be high on my list - again for great scenery and walks.

Here in the UK, 2024 was the 4th warmest year on record, meaning the last 3 years have had 3 of the 4 warmest years. It was quite wet and a pretty dull year overall.
December has been pretty mild overall, dull and with average rainfall. This #dataviz shows the weather/climate summary for 2024.

Not only are the costs of events like #StormDarragh significant, but climate impacts are holding back the govt's renewal agenda.
