The WiFi in our apartment was out, so I threw on some clothes, grabbed my laptop, and hustled to a cafe in our neighborhood so I could get my work done. Thankful I live near backup WiFi options but they've been playing nothing but Adele for the past 3 hours. Geez, her songs are really repetitive.

Bestest Boy took me to see Blue Man Group for the first birthday of mine we celebrated together back in 2007. Last night I reciprocated 17+ years later by taking him for a belated birthday gift. The show is ending its 33+ year run here in our city on February 2nd. Such an NYC cultural institution. 💙

Classic banh mi at La Dong near Union Square. Came with a cup of dipping broth, which on its own seemed kinda plain, but applied, it seemed to unlock even more flavor to the well-constructed sandwich. A+++.

Made a mini Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich while eating a plate full of leftovers.
