The ESA Amendments Act (H.R. 1897) delays protections for species already in crisis, strips habitat safeguards, and makes it easier to approve projects that push wildlife closer to extinction.
EPA administrator Lee Zeldin gave the keynote speech this week to an extremist group, the Heartland Institute, that previously compared those concerned about climate change to the Unabomber.
