The evidence that Waymo is safer than human drivers is increasingly overwhelming. It’s driven more than 200 million miles without being at fault for a fatal crash.

#waleg needs to allow them. Set reasonable guardrails. Establish regional caps. Allow UTC to regulate them. But get it done already!

A “part-time” legislature is absurd and they clearly are not able to properly do their jobs in 105 and 60 day sessions once a year. It’s time for #waleg to become a professionalized, full time legislature. Which actually would allow more regular people, including working families, to serve.

The Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee (JLARC) will meet on April 8, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Cherberg Building on the capitol campus in Olympia, WA.
