That’s a cool photo.
Congrats 👍
That’s a great video.
That’s cool that you have enjoyed Esperanto so much.
There are many great apps out there.
I have narrowed my use down to these.
For Persian:
Pimsleur, Mondly
For Spanish:
Rocket Languages, Busuu, and Duolingo just for fun.
The rest I might occasionally dabble with for variety, but I will complete the courses in those 5. I’m committed. 👍
What made you focus on Esperanto? Where/how do you use it so much?
I know a little bit about it. I’ve done a few lessons here/there and then read a little about its history.

I was just reading about your app, sounds interesting. That’s a great name, “Lang Sesh”.
How’s it coming along?
PS: I have a weird language app addiction. 😂
You’re learning Indonesian, in Esperanto???
That’s an impressive layering! You must be extremely advanced in Esperanto!
That’s very interesting.
Thanks 🙏
I haven’t been doing as much daily as I used to, but I’m still keeping the streak going.
It’s a good habit. One step forward daily is better than no steps forward.
I would use one of those and then supplement with Busuu.
Having more than one source is good.
Then as you progress, supplement with music, podcasts, tv, movies, etc.
Hope that helps.
Good luck 👍
I have used many language learning apps including Busuu and Duolingo, which I still use both daily.
That said, after 3+ years using those and many other apps, I can confidently say the 2 best apps are
1. #RocketLanguages
2. #Pimsleur
Rocket has like 14 languages available, Pimsleur has 50’ish.
My progress page on Busuu, a language learning app. Shows I have a streak of 888 days.
Making progress with #Busuu. 👍
Ahora, yo sé dónde está la biblioteca. #Langsky
New version 1.1.21 is out! ✨
- Text field now grows larger for long messages. Thanks @tonymichael.bsky.social for reporting!
- Added nice background sounds to scenarios
- Added scenarios for visiting Sagrada Familia, Big Ben and other famous landmarks!
Wow, that’s great. Thanks for the update and being so responsive 👍
The way your day should go
You’re welcome.
Did Google Translate do a good job?
Did you finish it?
What else have you used?
Pimsleur is good too, but Chai and Conversation is by far the best resource available to learn Farsi/Persian. 👍
Good luck.
Language Apps
I’m using Mondly for that too. Have you heard of Chai and Conversation?
They teach Farsi. They have a great podcast, it’s free, very comprehensive.
The podcast is on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
She also has a popular Instagram page and does a free 6 week Persian bootcamp every quarter.
Remélem ez segít.
Ehhez a Google fordítót használtam. Remélem van értelme a fordításnak. 🙏
3. Duolingo:
Mind a 3 tetszik, különböző okokból.
1. Busuu:
A Busuu messze a legjobb (a 3 közül) a nyelvtanuláshoz. Ez a legakadémikusabb és legstrukturáltabb.
I like Mondly. I think it’s good for practice and learning vocabulary.
I see it as a good supplemental app, but not good as a main app or only tool to learn a language.
I also really appreciate how many languages they offer.
I’m learning Persian. There aren’t many apps that offer that language.
Busuu stats. 922 corrections.
Busuu stats. 148 corrections.
I’ve even had some of those people want to reach out via WhatsApp to practice outside Busuu.
Granted, the majority of people there just give quick/short answers, but you don’t need too many good people who will be really helpful.
3-5 good people can help a LOT.
PS: Here’s my stats.
922/148
I’ve been using Busuu for 2+ years. I’ve found to be the best way to get quality feedback is to find a few good people on there and exchange quality corrections with them 5-10 times, being personal, humor helps.
Then, once you have a good “team” you’re golden. Might take a while to find the team.
I did too, they run a really good deal every year around Christmas time.
When I got it, it was only $35/year and it stayed at that price.
When I finish Spanish I may use it to study another language. It’s too good to give up.
How would you compare the two?
Which do you like more?
I disagree, I think I understood it perfectly.
Have you ever seen someone unaware of what they are doing, while they are doing it?
Is it possible you didn’t realize the absurdity of your own virtue signaling when you had previously taught English to immigrants?
You made it a right/left issue.
Language apps on my iPhone.
What are your favorite #LanguageLearning apps in 2025?
I’m still using these daily…
> For Persian:
#Pimsleur
#Mondly
> For Spanish:
#RocketLanguages
#Busuu
#Duolingo
I also like #Speakly, #Beelinguapp, and #LanguageTransfer.
I just don’t have the time to use all of them.
