I remember the Vietnam War well. Trump should too — we're the same age.
I was too short to serve and lost good friends in the war. Trump pretended to have bone spurs.
That war was characterized by lies, arrogance, and stupidity.
What's happening in Iran is starting to feel a lot like Vietnam.

Nobody has given more aid and comfort to health and welfare fraudsters than Donald J. Trump, a new Protect Our Care report shows. He's pardoned executives responsible for more than $3 billion in fraud.

Amazon saw lower prices at competitors and urged the brands to pressure those competitors to raise their prices, which they did. In writing. @robbonta.bsky.social has the receipts of this cartel behavior.

A new report shows that Trump appears to support medical fraud, as long as corporate executives and other elites are the ones committing it. buff.ly/cn3eT0r
What’s clear is that many consumers, importers, and producers will never collect the refunds that they are owed. buff.ly/r7SHlv0
"These allegations point to a novel form of monopoly power: the ability of a dominant platform to use algorithms to lift prices across an entire market. Amazon is doing so...by provoking and shaping the responses of rival algorithms, creating feedback loops that ratchet prices higher."
Trump's Never-ending War and Trump's Never-ending Tariffs are pushing up Never-ending price increases. All of this is happening because of the unilateral decision making of one man. The question is, will he pay the price for it during the midterms?
The Department of Labor has improved the lives of millions of people. I worked like hell as secretary of labor because I believed in what we were doing.
What's happened at the department under this latest Trump regime is an insult to generations of DOL employees, to American workers, to America.

ProPublica obtained a vast cache of IRS information showing how billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk pay little in income tax compared to their massive wealth — sometimes, even nothing.
(Published 2021)
Meta just paid the lowest effective federal tax rate in its history.
Thanks to tax breaks and loopholes, it avoided $13.7B in 2025 federal income taxes.
But now it's planning to lay off 10% of its global workforce (8,000 people) by May 20 — with more job cuts later this year.
Trickle down hoax.

Billions in foreign real estate deals while serving as head of state.
Billions in crypto deals while gutting regulation of the industry.
Suing his own government and negotiating a settlement funded by the taxpayers.
We're so numb to Trump grifting off the presidency that hardly anyone notices.

This is a rotten deal that the Trump regime has rubber stamped.
State AGs must step in and block it.
ZOHRAN MAMDANI: "It is sad that for too many Americans when they want to look for ambition in the Democratic Party, they have to turn to a history book."
Filing taxes in the U.S. is tedious, hyper-complicated, and easy to make a costly error. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Many states have passed laws requiring universal lead screening — but not Nebraska.
So in Omaha, where factories deposited 400 million pounds of the toxic metal, most kids haven’t been tested.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.
Remind you of anyone?
A judge questioned a proposed DOJ settlement that offers no compensation to victims but allocates millions to immigration enforcement.
“Who in the settlement room said it would be a good idea to give $20 million to law enforcement?” the judge asked.

Yet another sad reminder that there is a two-tiered justice system in America: One for the rich. Another for everyone else.
Two in one week, both from state AGs stepping in where the federal government was bought off.
We did an emergency pod on the Live Nation Ticketmaster verdict, going through the entire history of Live Nation, how the Justice Department tried to sabotage the case, & what it means for Live Nation and other large companies that state AGs stepped up and won.

In February 2025 alone, the DOJ dropped nearly 11,000 cases — the most in a month since at least 2004.
The previous high was just over 6,500 cases in September 2019, during Trump’s first administration.
Patton Oswalt is going to read the third book in the Talisman trilogy. OTHER WORLDS THAN THESE will be out in October. I'm totally stoked that he agreed to do it. Spoiler alert: There's a character in the book who's a stand-up comedian. His name is...Payton Orville.
Coincidence? I think not.
