Personally I really find this fandom to be insanely immature.. Even when.. The main fanbase is practically adults..
They're clearly working hard to ensure quality, I'm personally really happy with what we have! Quite satisfied even! All I think is.. The 'trailer' is just a teaser.. It's not meant to be anything more than that!
They can't just move over what is from 3 and 5 and call it a day.. NO! You actually have to do your job, not just stick your fingers in your nose and copy and paste it.
That's basically what it is.. In persona 4, the palaces are even in the TV world.. Which basically gives you a big giant red sign that says.. "Needs to be made from scratch!"Or perhaps "Code needs to be reworked.."
You get basically a different system, persona 4s version of mementos and tartarus is basically in persona 5 terms.. The previous palaces you visited, and in persona 3's terms the previous shadow locations you visited outside of Tartarus.
No extra cool things you get from modern era games being more forgiving.
But! Persona 4 is particularly different from 3 and 5... The battle system in particular..
Considering 4 practically doesn't give you Mementos or Tartarus, they're gonna have to code something in from basically scratch..
Now another thing is.. They may have moved to unreal engine 5, I also had a thought in mind as for why there wasn't any UI or anything like that. Sure they could move it over from other games..
Considering it's so barebones that it's missing UI.. And the character in question does not look pleasant graphics wise. It's telling me that they only just began development somewhere this year.
...So to sum up everything I may have some ideas to why the reveal is as it is! So, first of all things.. I'm thinking that they only JUST started development upon the registration.
Atleast show some respect for them as they're making the game for the franchise you enjoy. If anything, atlus could in fact shut down basically everything so be greatful for what you have for crying out loud.
So... To dumb down what I'm saying is.. Do not complain, because you asked for it. A simple tweet or.. A small little teaser won't do anything! You have to go big with a reveal like this, after all these EMPLOYEES work hard for your entertainment..
Atlus would have to have revealed it at some point.. Otherwise it's just.. "WHEN IS PERSONA 4 REMAKE COMING?" In their comments, every time..
That can cause the company to be pressured online. "when is persona 4 remake being announced?" Persona persona persona... Let's be for real.
Demand means to want something so of course the company is going to supply us, this is what makes a business.
Demand exists.. Since the domain registration, people have been like.. "I hope they confirm it" and "blah blah blah im too excited" whatever jazz and bull crap. You guys brought this upon yourselves, you wished for it and you can't reverse that wish at all.
Based on the domain registration leak, we pretty much just basically knew somethings up.. So... Pretty much fans ruined it for fans.. If the registration wasn't leaked however, then maybe we'd be basically having to hope for nothing..
"Its too early!" "Why does this have to be revealed now? It doesn't look good." Well.. hold on there.. I knew it was bound to happen.. The fans wanted the reveal, and so on and so forth. IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN EVENTUALLY.
Even the reveal looks like it's like a rough draft of what we're gonna get in the final game, this does not define the final version whatsoever.. Even there is a disclaimer.. Yet, people are so butt hurt at a simple reveal that they have to whine and cry about it..
So, from my thoughts about the P4R Reveal/Teaser.. I've seen so many be so harsh on it and say that.. "It's crappy" and "Boo Yu looks horrible" we have to remember.. We kinda manifested this from the beginning of the domain registration.
