@historysam.bsky.social talking about an embedded approach to revision from KS3-4.

This is a great example of the placemats used at KS4 - not overwhelming but also really useful to students in completion and then using to revise

I’d say so. I’m a novice so maybe someone knows better than me but handwriting might be an issue. I’m sure most handwriting can be scanned and transformed into text 🤔 The year after exams go online … 2028 … as a trial 🤔 Will be interesting to see what happens.
It’ll be marking exam papers first!
Two AI voices but you wouldn’t know. Copy and paste the text = minutes later a podcast is created 🤯 LM Notebook. This is my Xmas holiday sorted 🤣 I’ve played around with it this evening and realised I am going to have to select the text carefully so a job for when I’m less tired!
Not just 1 voice but 2! A really nice conversation about a topic 🤯🤯
Huge shout out to @missfolorunsho.bsky.social She’s given me some superb coaching in how I can use AI in my teaching. I was a complete novice this morning! Tonight I’m creating revision podcasts for my students! 👏🏻 Looking forward to learning more ☺️ #historyteacher #AI #GCSE

Do you teach OCR African Kingdoms Alevel or African Kingdoms at KS3? Would you like to start?
On Friday 25 April 2025, the Bristol Historical Association are hosting an afternoon of lectures on Early Modern African Kingdoms from an amazing group of academics.
Free for Sixth Formers and Teachers!
Bluesky has been busy today with new sign ups 🤣
India is the focus for our multiple enquiries on the British Empire. I’ll definitely take a look and share once I start planning 😊 Thank you - I’ll get the mocks marked first 🤣
I’ll be planning lessons on Britain and India soon. These look great ⭐️👏🏻 @apf102.bsky.social
Thank you. This is my homework for this evening. I shall explore.
Looking for advice. Has anyone had success teaching #GCSE #History to #EAL students with very little English. I want to support a keen student but not sure how. Advice, reading, resources: all welcome. Thank you 😊
Just 7 days left to buy tickets for the @1972shp.bsky.social Yorkshire History Forum from store.leedstrinity.ac.uk/product-cata... It's gonna be epic!
I'm working on the @1972shp.bsky.social submission for the Curriculum Review and would be grateful for some responses to a quick survey about the state of history in primary and secondary schools forms.office.com/e/DFyTm6ZEKv
She's managed to keep it pretty quiet on here, but
@catpriggs.bsky.social is now working freelance in education. As well as quality advice on middle and whole school leadership, Cat would be a GENIUS person to talk to about History curriculum and assessment.

Fantastic. I’m so pleased for you.

I’ve made it to the gym 💪🏼 The plan: revisit once a week Mon - Thurs from now on. Hold me to account 😂 #exercise #mentalhealth
Totally agree.
Excellent. I’d be happy if my students were reading this. I’d be happy if they were reading anything 😂
📖 One thing I love about the summer holidays is the amount of time I have to enjoy reading. This summer has been a good one. I’ve chosen well. Just one that I found disappointing 📖 # historyteacher #summer #reading #readinglist 📚
In Memoriam is beautiful. I’ve read some great books this summer. Weyward, Brotherless Night and Four Winds were my favourites 📖
Everyone on Facebook complaining about the pay. That’s the least of our problems 😂 Waiting to see if any of them mention tennis elbow now!
You’re not alone. I also suffered with this at the end of term. Same reason. Have only just been able to grip and lift again. Was painful. Take care.
I’ve really enjoyed my summer holiday walks 😎 Today was lovely. Quiet beaches, the sound of waves and ice cream 😜 A great way to reflect and restart #historyteacher #whitstable #summer #walking
Thank you xx
