I get this a lot. I’m an abortion provider, and the CEO and President of an org known for abortion advocacy. Let’s talk about why I use inclusive language — and why I’m not stopping. 🧵

Abortion is health care, but it can also be an act of hope or a prayer or a wish or a Hail Mary for the lives patients want to protect or build or keep imagining. Some people don’t want to be pregnant, they have an abortion, they go on to lead the lives they imagined. Abortion is worth celebrating.
Not asking you directly but hoping someone smarter than me has an idea. I see so many local electeds have their hands tied by the State, it's frustrating to say the least.

The MSNBC commentator saying that most political violence has historically come from the left just once again showed how we suffer from failing to learn history. Lynching, pogroms, race riots, the political violence that ended Reconstruction, and against the Civil Rights Movement. Come on.
